Brown's PI or Hold

Sorry, but you're wrong. There is no such thing as a fair official. They can choose to throw a flag or not. There is a fine line between what is illegal and what is borderline. There just is no consistency in calls anymore. One week a play is illegal, the next week the same play is legal. Their calls affect every game, their judgments affect every game. Consistency, honesty, no bias, and fairness is needed...but it will never happen because humans are not that perfect, or refuse to be that perfect. You can't tell me that one team committed two minor fouls in a sixty minute game. They were only flagged twice because the officials chose to only flag them twice. No team is that perfect, no team is that disciplined. That's why every fan complains about officiating. They have a right to complain.
OK. Equally poor for both teams

Yes, they do that a lot after conferring. I actually thought that was going to be the call after they talked for a bit.

nah it went like this

Ref one, I have PI

Ref 2, um Rodgers threw it way too high uncatchable

Ref 3, just have a text from Mara that says better not pick up the flag or else

Ref 1, it was caught, what are you saying

Ref 2, dummy by the other side

Ref 3, Roger just sent me a message, we are fired if we say no foul

Head Ref-PI, spot foul

The ball absolutely was not in the air. They showed a replay from the end zone angle and Rodgers was still winding up when the contact was made.

Plus it looked like Rodgers was outside the tackle box, so it was actually not illegal to contact the WR.

This is exactly correct. They only showed the field view on replay one time, but it was obvious the receiver was past Brown when Rodgers released the ball. You can see all three of them, Brown, Rodgers, and the receiver in that shot at the same time, and the ball was definitely NOT in the air when the contact occurred. Illegal contact was the correct call.

(But, with that said, the Cowboys should never put themselves in such a hole that the officials have that much influence on the outcome of the game. And, no, I don't think it is a conspiracy. Officials are human and thus they make mistakes.)

TANGENT ALERT!!!

And, since I'm talking about officials, they shouldn't have "officiating crews" during the season and "all-star" crews in the playoffs. They should have "officiating teams" that always work together off-season, preseason, regular season, and playoffs. Consistency is all you can ask from officials, not perfection. And consistent teams are more consistent in everything they do.

Bingo, only call could have made was holding. He was out of the pocket so illegal contact was not possible and as ball was in his hand, PI was not possible. They called a penalty that could not be called in that instance.

It should of been a hold if they called it for that. However, the ball was overthrown so it should of been voided PI because it was uncatchable. Did you guys watch the Lions and Seahawks game? Remember that 3rd down where the refs said the PI was not called because it was not catchable? Which it was but the PI held the receiver just enough to not get close to it. The NFL is rigged guys.

lol exactly. At the end of the game no less

If Heath doesn't pick it off, the refs pick up the flag.
Which makes that little referee pow wow after the play interesting.

"All-Star" referee crews for the playoffs!?!
Who's the fool that thought this was a great idea? Pfft.

/Questforsix = body-bagged

It's amazing how confident he was in his error. Maybe he'll pick another sport.
It seems like football is too advanced for him. I suggest hot air balloon races.

Maybe upgrade the TV that he re-watched that play on... smh

Coming soon......just like in the NBA.....a Ref will admit or after getting caught.....he made biased/arranged calls.
