If he were alive Stevie Ray Vaughan! My dad idolized that guy & I was raised with Stevie's music. The stuff out today I barely listen to even though I'm young. Bruno is a safe pick. Just a yuck one.

Funny as an African American that I am way more diverse in my musical taste then most that respond to this. I probably know more rock and roll then most and I definitely know more rap artist then all...I guess I have reached a greater level and love of music then most...

The only two artist I would really be satisfied with is Jay Z and/or Linken Park....

Not sure you being AA has a thing to do with liking Bruno Mars. Most folks I know like him. In my circle, I'm def in the minority of folks who don't like him.

People like who they like. He's a great musician and performer, but his voice works my ears like nails on a chalkboard.

not impressed, but my 15 yr old daughter who heard it wanted to know why I stopped the video. So I guess all the 15 yr old girls watching the Super Bowl will be happy.

and I guess one 28 year old too. :)

I have never ever been a fan of Drake's music, but that track my station has been playing "Hold on we're going home" is my new jam. But, could he pull of a halftime show with his other stuff?? I dont know. JayZ would be fire. Timberlake minus Janet Jackson would be cool too. Yuck to Kanye.

I'm a big Drake fan. I don't think anyone isn't a Drake fan at this point really, I'm sure there are some but people usually like either his signing or his rapping; I happen to like both. Theoretically I believe he could carry quite a good halftime show with his anthemic songs that all would relate to how a player on that field would be feeling, especially "Forever". At this point he has enough of a catalog with songs that have literally been everywhere to pull off a great 5-6 song set.. plus with Forever he could bring out Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Eminem.. twitter's servers would explode once Eminem started on his Forever verse.

I do agree that Jay Z is the most likely pick for a hip hop halftime show, followed by Eminem. Kanye is as mentioned above far too controversial. They may have avoided picking Jay Z this year as Beyonce (his wife) just did this years.

I like the Cult because I like the old rock better than anything current but I have to say their singer sounds really horrible on that video. He use to have a great voice. The band rocks though.

He drank alot in his younger days. Can't do that to vocal chords. I saw the Cult back in the day during the original electric tour. Never forget.

I agree 100%, the band sounded great, the old man was awful. Sometimes people should know when enough is enough and leave the good memories behind.

How about Muse?

Even metal bands like Metallica or A7X could work I think.
