That last pick against San Fran............ blaming the play call is ridiculous.

Yeah, maybe the play design was bad but holy hell, Dak still has the ball in his hands, he doesn't have to throw it if the play is covered. He can either throw it away, look somewhere else, or even worse case, just take a sack. The fact they admit that Dak stares down CD and allows the defender to lurk on the play and then blame the play call is hilarious.

I think some of their analysis is rational and makes sense but the boys at BtB tend to be Dak friendly and I think they took some liberties with some of these blaming someone else, like that pick against San Fran.

Hard working? That's debatable. First, you have to have the passion and desire to improve your game, and I don't see Dak being that kind of person. All he does is talk and make promises he has no intention of keeping. He's like Jerry in my opinion - he says things just to keep the media off his butt. Otherwise he doesn't give a damn about the success of the team.
I disagree, I have seen the improvement and I watched him his last two seasons at Miss St. He does not improve without hard work.

I do think he cares a great deal about the success of the team and I think he is a good teammate to his guys,

All of the 15 picks have something in common, he was trying to make a play, not a mistake. The man is human and he does not have the natural talent of these blue chippers but he is not going to go down easy.

acr, the problem is a lot of the criticism aimed his way is gratuitous and overkill and Prescott is even more polarizing than Romo was and I didn't think that possible.

"Improving" usually doesn't lead to a league high INT's. Of course he worked hard in college, and anyone can tell you why. He also worked hard up to the big contract signing. But after that his passion and work ethic declined. These are just my opinions, though.

For Mister Irrelevant, he showed well when thrusted into the starting job.

Just don't turn the ball over and give the team a chance. That's exactly what he did.

This was a response to JohnBoy.

LOL at thinking BtB speaks the "truth". They literally state that Dak stared down Lamb. That he allowed the one defender to squat on the route. That Lamb was covered but Dak tried to force it in anyway. Ball gets deflected for a pick.

But yeah, it was the play call that was the real problem. LOL.

Try again... Dak's work ethic and dedication to improve as been widely reported by every player and coach he's worked with. When it comes to that, he aint just talk.

Since no one wants to watch the video or comment on my thread, here you go. Watch this 28 minute video with an open mind. Very informative.

Does anyone go to the lengths these bozos are going to explain Prescott's picks?

Did anyone go through Herbert's or Allen's?

The ball gets picked, it is charged against the QB. That is the way it's been forever.

Why in the hell does anyone feel the need to protect this guy? He's a big boy getting the big bucks, throw the damn ball to your own guys!

I have never seen anything like this. Wouldn't Meredith, Staubach, White, Aikman and Romo like to have someone trying to explain and excuse away their mistakes?
Pretty sure Herbert has an industry full of defenders. Dude is 25/24 and 0/1 in the playoffs.

Still considered “elite”

Where the heck did this come from? I get it you don’t like the guy but your comments here make it sound like he slept with your girl.

Seriously, CC? Did you forget how 90% of all the Romofanatics in the old DC forums would make excuses or explanations for Romo's INTs. This went on for 10 long years.

I hate the obsession our forum has with this guy. Have nothing against him, seems like a hard working nice young man.
It's an act to compensate for the lack of on-field talent he, unfortunately, doesn't possess.
Everything he does is calculated to keep the good boy image in the public perception.
He has a great PR dept. this I will give him.
How many nice guys do you see getting beat to a pulp in a parking lot and telling folks to throw garbage at the refs?
And please don't forget how he threw Dez and our kicker under the bus without any hesitation.
He will do anything and I mean anything to keep this sacred Job that fell into his hands when 2 QB went down in a preseason game with a stacked offensive roster.
Dak Prescott is all sauce and no Steak.

That was when I stopped defending him. Sorry but if you need to make a statement like that trashing your receiver for your inability to actually throw a decent ball, that tells me a lot about your character or lack of it.

I see comments alluding to Dak being the only QB who gets called out, or gets excuses. As Cowboys fans, I'm sure everyone here watches and pays attention to much more Dak talk than to talk of other QBs. I'm sure if you were to spend time every day on other teams' forums, you'd see a lot more of their fans and bloggers doing the same thing.
