The offense last year relied more on Daks arm in years past and the result was to lead the league in interceptions. That’s just the reality of the situation. After 7 years of this experiment this is who Dak is. A middle of the road QB who is limited in what he can do. Needs a really dynamic running and passing game. One that gets the ball out of Daks hand and puts it in the hands of playmakers. Pollard has a bit of that and Lamb has some of that ability. Overall however there isn’t a guy on the Cowboys offense that tips the scales for us.

thats not true. He had as many or more attempts per game in 2018, 2019, and 2021 as he did last year.

Here are some interesting comparisons between Herbert and Prescott.

Herbert's best passer rating season was 98.3 as a rookie in 2020. That would be Dak's 5th best season.
Herbert's best QBR was 65.6 in 2021.. That would also rank 5th behind Dak's 4 best seasons.
Herbert's highest completion percentage was 68.2 in 2022. That would be 2nd behind Dak's best season of 68.8 in 2021.
Herbert's highest TD pass total was 38 in 2021. That's one better than Dak's 37 in the same year. However Dak accomplished his number on almost 80 fewer pass attempts. 596 to 672.

I won't even bother to mention win totals.. That's really unfair as that's a team stat.

I get why people get excited over Herbert's draft pedigree, stature, big arm all that.. But on the field Dak is a better QB.. at least he has been to this point. But Herbert's young.. Maybe he eventually develops into a better player.. He's a talented kid. But he aint there yet..

maybe i should restate this he just can't get it done and if you watch and mean go to all -20 replays of any of the championship teams you will plainly see when under pressure he folds againist weak teams he's okay and lets say some key players on the defensive back field are hurt well he can do some damage but in playoff games there always is a problem i don't know if it's the person calling the play or him we will see this year won't we
