BTB: Cowboys News & Notes: Paxton Lynch or Jared Goff or RG3?

Dunno.

Do know there is a relatively higher probability that Goff will generate more Ryan Gosling type memes though.

If we lose SF doesn't have to win because of SOS I believe....

I still stand firm by Stephen's comments and believe the only way we take a quarterback is if we feel he is a can't miss prospect. The backup position will be addressed well before the draft and we aren't in the business of spending top 5 picks on 3rd stringers.

I will never eat at subway again.........

Well, I don't eat there anyway...but the point is the same.
Guess it is safe to say, we never have to worry about seeing Jared commercials, and now the RG3 subway era is over too....:muttley:

My personal view is neither Goff or Lynch are worth a top 5 pick and we have a lot of other holes as this season proved.

It's rare we get this high a pick - take the best player available that high, period. And I do not think it is either of those guys.

Address the QB situation later in the draft and pick up a veteran to back up Romo this year. Keep all 3 on the 53.

We can get a dominant LB, DL, OL, or even WR in the top 5 - take it.

Personally I'd take Tunsil for RT and double down on the OL. Give Tony the best line ever for a last run to glory.

I'm not a draftnik and maybe this belongs in the draft zone but what are some thoughts on Stanford's QB? My bro and I kinda like what we have seen but we haven't seen much lol

If we're going to pick a QB in the mid rounds I'd seriously look at him. He's got intangibles like leadership, can run a little, and is fairly accurate.

Arent lynch and goff going to be picked up by cleveland and san fran?

That would be my read.

I don't see us getting either guy.

Not unless somehow we jump into the top 3.

Unlikely.

That's where as time drags on I think Dallas will look to sign a QB via a trade as they evaluate the other QBs in the draft and decide they are not Franchise material.

Which then allows them to use the #1 choice on a RB..

Which means they look at trading back a couple of spots to get one and pick up a pick.

This makes more sense and addresses the biggest issues and spreads the risk on the picks.

We'll see.
