No thanks drafting a QB in the first round would be one of the dumbest picks this organization has ever made. Sitting behind Romo for another 4 years.
That would be my read.
I don't see us getting either guy.
Not unless somehow we jump into the top 3.
Unlikely.
That's where as time drags on I think Dallas will look to sign a QB via a trade as they evaluate the other QBs in the draft and decide they are not Franchise material.
Which then allows them to use the #1 choice on a RB..
Which means they look at trading back a couple of spots to get one and pick up a pick.
This makes more sense and addresses the biggest issues and spreads the risk on the picks.
We'll see.

Yes that would be Jerry Jones flawed thinking......but a real football GM wouldn't think that way..RG3 wouldn't be a long term plan, a two year deal and a chance for him to rebuild his stock and would be a major improvement from what's been here for the last two years at backup and a chance for a Goff or Lynch to develop...Romo's day's are numbered, two years at the most, he's a declining player, regardless of the nonsense that comes out of Jerry's mouth..
Its not flawed thinking if you don't like the quarterbacks in this draft. Otherwise, you end up with a Christian Ponder, Jake Locker or Blaine Gabbert. You shouldn't take a quarterback just because you need one. You should take the best player on your board.
Goff is the best polished QB since Luck,,, I don't think that's just taking one to take one
We are at 4 right now ahead of San Fran. Garrett can change all of that though within the next few hours with just a few well placed claps.
I don't see either Browns or the 49ERs. Drafting a QB in the top 5.

They are going to do something on the veteran front. If you look at the available free agents, it looks like a bunch of Weedens and Cassels.
If Griffin is available, it is almost a foregone conclusion he gets serious consideration.
Think of the reasons. Jones still marvels at his 4TDs on Thanksgiving. There is the idea of "sticking it" to a division rival, even though it would really be doing them a favor. He is likely to get a strong plug from Briles, who has some ears in in the organization. Hometown boy coming back to Dallas. It would even sell a bunch of jerseys.
Just revolting.
I personally don't get the hate on bringing in a once highly thought of young qb to fight for a backup spot.
Is he because he was once a division rival?
Seriously don't understand some of you posters when it comes to player acquisition.
