Collins has insane potential at G. He had issues, but give him reps and he'll be fine. This guy was a first round prospect, and nasty, people forget that.

Carr and Church will be back. Mainly because they're durable vets, and won't be expensive. Neither guy is getting a big contract.

Mo and Wilcox are up in the air. Wilcox can bring the wood, but you have Heath and you just drafted Frazier. Depends on how much Mo wants. I'm not paying him any more than 1 yr/1.5mill or a heavy incentive based contract.

McClain is a decent rotational guy. Looks like we paid Thornton too much so they'll probably go for McClain since they have 15 mill in cap between Crawford/Thornton. I'd use the money to go after Bennie Logan, but I doubt they do it.

Leary's gone. Carr and Church highly likely to be back. McClain probably back. Claiborne/Wilcox are question marks, Mo is the more likely of the two.

Williams should be a top priority. Bring Will back and make him the second option, again

Williams is dead to me after that terrible drop that hit him right in the chest. Butler too.

Give me a vet that can run a route and catch a pass. Speed is so overrated, good route running will negate all the speed in the world.

you just described Pierre Garçon. Trained by Peyton Manning and good club house guy.

Yeah i like Garcon, he's underrated. He's going to get paid though. On his last contract with signing/roster bonuses, he was accounting for like 10 mill a year. Dangit.

Leary is too expensive. Martin will get a big deal in two years if not next year, you just can't have that much of your cap tied up on just 4 OL, especially when you have a solid guard on the cheap to plug in.

McClain is a solid player and will likely be at a reasonable cost.

Yes price may be an issue but he's now over 30 and his last contract was 5 yrs / 42 million.
Something like 4 yrs./24 million would be my offer.
You got to figure if you pay twill it's going to be that or more.
Doubtful he would bite at that price but I'd sniff him out

Everybody realizes Collins is a free agent after this coming year right? It's a little late to develop him at this point, and learning RT on the fly seems like a bad idea given the fact he at times struggled at pass pro at G. Say what you will about Free, but it indeed CAN get worse. Leary will get a big stack of cash in FA and Collins will be the starting LG. What happens with Free/RT? No clue, doesn't seem reasonable Free gets paid what he is slated to get next year but who knows.

Bye T will, he's extremely replaceable. Butler has annoyed in multiple games, including the biggest 1, so he can go too. Wouldn't surprise me if he's back cheap tho. Need to throw a mid round pick (3rd/4th) at WR tho.

Church will be brought back at a reasonable rate, he's probably more valuable to the cowboys than any other team.

McClain will most likely be brought back, doubt he will have a ton of suitors

CB is where it will get interesting...with Carr retirement rumors and the fact that he needs to rework a whole new deal complicates things. But Mo is made of glass. Free agency doesn't look all that promising either, and doubt we throw around the big $ it takes to get a starting CB anyway. I say draft a rookie in the 1st 3 rounds and convince Carr to come back for cheap to make 1 last run. OScan, Brown, High draft pick + Carr as dime package/insurance policy doesn't sound too bad. Especially if we upgrade the pass rush.

I think before we play the "prediction thread" id like to see what Dallas does. I cant believe they wont bring in a new DC at least. I like Rod but we are about to draft a core and it would be wiser to bring in a 4-3 qb hunting defensive guy and give him the draft and FA to fix this not so horrible D.

Keep Leary. Anyone playing defense can find the door.

Obviously, so by your same logic Leary should play RT because Free is slipping?

No, I'm saying that Collins is athletic enough to play RT. Paying Leary and moving Collins out is my choice. And yes, I know Leary will cost alot.

We're clearly not going to address the pass rush in any real way, so let's double down on Zeke and Dak.

Leary. Don't really care about the rest but I think you probably have to keep Carr or Claiborne.

We have to sign a DT whether it's McClain or Logan or whoever. Crawford already admitted that he's too soft to be a real tackle. I don't get why everybody wants Church back. Why not get a younger more dynamic player back there?

we arent finding the dynamic players on defense. Hopefully Brown has changed that, but currently, nothing really dynamic. We prefer, Solid.

Say no to Mo. I don't care how cheap he might be, he's not worth it. The guy can't stay on the field. It's time to cut him loose.....
If he's cheap why would you get rid of him? What would've happened if we got rid of Sean Lee because he was hurt all the time?
