After paying visits to other teams, it looks like the defensive lineman will stay with Dallas.
Multiple sources on Twitter have reported that Jack Crawford is expected to sign a one-year deal with the Dallas Cowboys. The defensive lineman had made visits to the New York Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers, but it appears that the grass was not greener there and he will return to play at least one more season with Dallas.
I have it on good authority the #Cowboys will bring back DL Jack Crawford on a 1-year deal. @BlueStarBlog

Crawford is the third free agent from Dallas to have discussions with other teams and then return to accept an offer from the Cowboys. James Hanna and Lance Dunbar also tested the waters before coming home.
With the need to improve the pass rush, Crawford has been seen by some, including here at Blogging The Boys, as a good player to target for re-signing. He is not spectacular, but he is a flexible role player for the defensive line. His new deal fits the Dallas philosophy of using free agency carefully to get players that can contribute at a reasonable price.
