in other words unless it agrees with me its wrong

No, it's more of the same justification on why this team reeks like a two week old tuna.

The simple fact is this. This is a team, and not the Dallas Romos.

Som,e games the defense lets down. Some Romo lets down.

Mopt all games belong to Romo, but he has his share. And since this is a team sport, he still owns the losses just like everyone else.

These stats are putting lipstick on a pig, or Rosie O'Donnell. Whichever flips your switch.

How about lets make a deal. I speak for me and you speak for you. That way you don't come off....welll...epically incorrect.

Top notch? Were u watching replays of the 90s every sunday last year?

Thanks for quoting every time I posted today, almost had nothing to do in the bathroom.

No, this shows a pompous self value to match a wiser arse. And don't pick up any discussive value beyond bellowing as a cow.

Yea, I'd be content with a preppie status if similar...and complain one's way to the top of the burn barrel buddies.

A staff that includes Monte Kiffin, Bill Callahan, both respected through the NFL franchises. They have a contributing status.
And the offensive line has steadily improved under the coaching of Callahan.

Rod Marinelli and Scott Linehan, the two coordinators, are very respected in the NFL for just what they are doing with the Cowboys. Developing up a successful offensive and defensive scheme. They are both quality.

Garry Brown, running backs; Derek Dooley, wide receivers; Mike Pope, tight ends; and Frank Pollack-assistant offensive line, might just be the most underrated as to value to this team. That's the offensive side.

Jerome Henderson, secondary; Matt Eberflus, linebackers; Leon Lett, defensive line; they are quality. As to Kiffin, he additionally has the title of assistant head coach.

In case one hadn't noticed, the Scouting Department is now headed by Will McClay, and he is a complete professional in his trade...watch a Cowboys cam during a draft now. Then there is the special team's coach, Rich Bissacia. His special teams are now ranked up among the best in the NFL.

As to the executives of the franchise: Stephen Jones, Jerry Jones Jr., and Charlotte Jones Anderson are highly respected in the NFL. They all are involved with NFL formed committees or positions as well. Oh, and Jerry, he has been a key member of the NFL Rules Committee almost from the start.

Go back to the John and come out educated, this time...

Poor reading retention:

I don't challenge what you say at all. Myself, I was a collegiate football player and then a soldier for a career. I just have to carry a positive, and win at all cost attitude from a positive base. No matter how bad it gets, one still has to hold hope of getting through and things getting better. That doesn't happen with the extra baggage of annoying nannies who have a goal in life of keeping all others down to their own low levels of value.

Act foolish on your own, preppie quarters.

Here is my recent example. I always wear my Cowboy gear. Last weekend I was at Menards and this guy walks up to me and wants to talk Cowboys. Before we even engage in any kind of conversation he starts in on Romo. He just blasts away with the usual "he always chokes" comments and the like. In retort I simply said "well, he isn't that bad" and this guy proceeds to tell me that Weeden is a better QB and would replace Romo as the starter this year. Additionally Weeden would lead us to the playoffs because he has an inside connection with Dez from OK ST and they are going to blow up this year. At that point I felt the need to defend Romo. Instead I acted like my phone rang and walked away.

Did you mean "At that point I didn't feel the need to defend Romo"?

No one needs to defend Romo against Weeden. I probably would have just broken into uproarious laughter. :)

Is ur whole argument for this coaching staff, based on how respected they are around the nfl? Scott linehan maybe respected, but he might be the single wosrt coach for THIS team. As for the rest of ur rant I stopped reading... ur obviouly just another sucker that jj loves to have in his fan base.

You weren't trying to understand, in your Batman decoder world...explain it to yourself, as you continually attempt.

As to insult, kept that part of the posting out of the conversation...such as sucker, 'bathroom additions,' and your continual negative attacks, go your own merry way.

Put an ounce of respect in your posting, or you can continue bouncing off walls without referral by myself. Please yourself, as that's what you are trying to do here. I find you RUDE. Stay out of conversation with myself.

I love seeing your sig checklist getting more and more items X'ed off. But I still think the cap is under control even with Tyron and Dez coming up.

(chuckling to self now)

I have gleaned a real truth through the far flung and objectionable burn barrel buddy bunch:

Mirror, Mirror on the Wall

Rather than purchase an internet site, bulletin board, or whiteboard for your home, write messages with dry-erase markers on the mirror in your bathroom. The bathroom gets heavy foot traffic, so it's a great place to keep notes and reminders for everyone in your family!

Oh wow more stat threads

Some people value an honest appraisal, and that often involves a degree of predictability whether observed or in a statistical reinforcing manner.

But in discussing - a slam, bam, thank you mam...and 'where's the tar buckets and mop,' doesn't cut it in a venue of topic development with, an intended demeaning instead.

Add something beyond a passing disgust, man.

(Yes, this is a serious question.)

I bet if you went to Saints or Patriots forums, you wouldn't find ONE thread about Brees (super advanced) stats or Bradys stats. Theres no need to defend those two, because they are Super Bowl winners. Of course the people here just have to defend Romo, because everyone knows that Romo is a 10+ year veteran with one playoff win.

I remember when watching football as a kid back in the 1820's, figuring out how good a QB played was simple. You looked at how many games his team won with him behind center. You looked at how many TDs he seemed to throw, even if you didn't have the exact number right in front of you. You may have considered INTs but only if he wasn't impressing you enough with the first two things (wins and TDs). And finally you could easily retrieve from your memory the numerous big-time plays he made in the big games (playoffs and SB, with the occasional end-of-the-year big game you watched with the family around the holidays), big games that always seemed to end with that QB and his team earning a "W" (even if, in reality, they didn't always win).

The cool thing about it is, even if we didn't have a truckload of stats at the ready, our perceptions of those QBs seemed to mirror reality overall. An overwhelming majority of QBs we perceived as elite or top tier back then ended up making it into the NFL Hall Of Fame.

I wonder if the yoots of today are doing the same when it comes to "analyzing" QBs, or if they are becoming over-reliant on sites like profootballreference.com (which I love that site, by the way). Are their perceptive abilities when it comes to the footsball being under-developed by all the ways we can break plays and production down to such a miniscule degree--3rd quarter INT percentage when leading by 6 points or less and all that there. All-Access game film? Please. When I was growing up you just hoped your sister didn't videotape "All My Children" over the game. Before that, we had to rely on cave paintings to analyze our team...

"See? Me tell you Grarg was open..."

If I had a teenage son--and for all I know, I might--I'd make him sit through an entire season without checking out stats or video or message boards--without going online at all--and just develop his analytical and perceptive NFL skills, or whatever the term should be.

I'm not sure how, but I blame the Russians.
