Some people value an honest appraisal, and that often involves a degree of predictability whether observed or in a statistical reinforcing manner.

But in discussing - a slam, bam, thank you mam...and 'where's the tar buckets and mop,' doesn't cut it in a venue of topic development with, an intended demeaning instead.

Add something beyond a passing disgust, man.

Awesome "I'm so smart" retort

Of course, if you did deeper into to those stats you'll find that a significant number of 4th quarter comebacks and game winning drives were needed as a result of Romo in the first place.

Of course, if someone asked you to verify that, you'll find that the troll known as noshame would disappear and not be found again.

Yup, Romo is a slow starter and sometimes helps put himself in those positions.

So...in your illogical mind, Romo is the problem with the defense, too!

Well, it's feeding time for trolls, so carry on.

Here is my recent example. I always wear my Cowboy gear. Last weekend I was at Menards and this guy walks up to me and wants to talk Cowboys. Before we even engage in any kind of conversation he starts in on Romo. He just blasts away with the usual "he always chokes" comments and the like. In retort I simply said "well, he isn't that bad" and this guy proceeds to tell me that Weeden is a better QB and would replace Romo as the starter this year. Additionally Weeden would lead us to the playoffs because he has an inside connection with Dez from OK ST and they are going to blow up this year. At that point I felt the need to defend Romo. Instead I acted like my phone rang and walked away.

Did you ask what his username on Cowboys Zone was?

I bet if you went to Saints or Patriots forums, you wouldn't find ONE thread about Brees (super advanced) stats or Bradys stats. Theres no need to defend those two, because they are Super Bowl winners. Of course the people here just have to defend Romo, because everyone knows that Romo is a 10+ year veteran with one playoff win.

And if you went to those forums, with QB's who have similar stats to Romo you wouldnt have a plethora of posters trashing their QB on a seemingly daily basis while at the same time praising goofball division rival QB's.

Yep. If you can't do anything in the first half then you have to come back in the second half. That makes sense.

When you actually figure out how he can be/is a problem for the defense. Come on back and we'll chat, but I won't hold my breath.

Most people who actually watch the games without their Tony Romo PJs and their Romo rose glasses, have all the verification they need.

I figured that out ever since Romo came to play. Idiots's say he is.

Just a quick glance Romo threw more INT than TD's in 5 of the 23 games listed at PFR. Is that what you mean by deeper?

Yea, and not even turnovers, 3rd down's he was horrible, and that put the ball in the hands of the defense, which was horrible. Is it Romo's fault the defense is bad? No, but is he partially to blame in wearing them down? Yes. It's that silly team thing again.

If anybody's wondering, Romo's 84.2 rating in the first 3 quarters of losses ranks 4th (min 1000 att). His 99.1 rating in the wins ranks 8th.

It's a team game, and Romo is not the only one at fault. Plus, he is rich, has a smoking hot wife, (with back issues), he has been beat to hell trying to uphold the Star.

The backward hat is what pisses me off!

My guess would be that Cowboys fans had no problem acknowledging the existence of "games that matter most" back when they were winning them with regularity.
The games do indeed exist, for the teams that are good enough to qualify.
