This might be the most boring fake-argument I've ever engaged in.

Your faux-outrage is unbecoming.

Let's be real here, you don't actually care. If it wasn't posted on the forum, you'd have never known anything about it.

I didn't see y'all yelling from the tallest tower that the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders don't hire dudes, so spare me.

I’m sure this guy is a champion fighter against discrimination in all forms, everywhere...c’mon now :muttley:

You see, the only way to prevent discrimination in all forms is to change nothing, give a group of people who have had no opportunities no further opportunities so they can never be the “best candidate”

Essentially the status quo.

They are discriminated against for one position now. Any attempt to argue otherwise is just dishonest.
The fact that you ignore that there are the amount of jobs they qualify for vastly outnumbers the one they aren’t renders any “discrimination” meaningless since the advantages men hold in this profession is very telling.

Shouldn't men and women qualify for all the jobs?

You favor sexual discrimination (putting it in quotes is just being dishonest). We get it.

Affirmative action policy, similar to the one championed by the Rooneys to give blacks a leg up over whites to get better employment only this time the only people that will be competing for the job is other women. I don't see how this helps empower women unless they compete with men for the same job. I see it as more of a token position or an insincere handout to keep at bay the woman support groups that fight for real empowerment for women. I wonder if this strategy really works?

Nope that’s you. I favor a diverse work force and giving people opportunities.

If we have your way women will never coach in the NFL.

All under the veneer of your faux equality.

Blatantly sexist move!
Sounds like I should apply and then sue for millions when they don’t hire me.

Why wouldn't anyone want a diverse workforce comprised of the best-qualified people? But that's not what's happening here because its only women competing with other women for this new position job. Arian's token job to women only sets female empowerment back until the job is a real competition between all qualified people... true equality. Women are qualified to own NFL teams so why can't the right women be qualified to do any job in the NFL? Arian's token job for women only is just an insult.

Its not outrage, or fake, just pointing out discrimination takes many forms, excluding a person from a job consideration based solely on race, sex, creed or nation origin is discrimination and wrong, so the long and short of it you support discrimination, in this day and age pretty sad. You think it's funny I don't.

Just like Popovich’s “token job” for Becky Hammon is an insult, right?

Are you kidding me? Becky earned that position and did compete with men for it as I'm advocating be done. She is every bit qualified for it. I was so proud to hear she even got a promotion for the current season. I'd love to see her be the first female NBA head coach someday.

Exactly.

NBA actually has a way for women to legitimately be experienced enough to earn a job at the highest level.

And you have no idea as to the qualifications of anybody Arians may or may not hire.
