So we want Mo back but were too good for Carter. Unbelievable man

Bruce Carter has only started 35 games in 5 years. He's been healthy enough to play in 63....
Mo has started 36 of the 40 games he has played in 4 years.

Neither guy is perfect but one sits when healthy and the other doesn't.
Also helps that Claiborne plays a position that has twice the value.

Comparing a starting CB to a back up LB is goofy on every level.

Best to develop one of the youngsters who show some degree of promise than take a guy back that we've already found wanting. The draft is sure to have some better ones to offer anyhow.

Don't think Marinelli was a fan of his so I would be shocked if he is back.

I'd be open to bring him back. He can teach the CB's how to intercept passes.

Carter has shown more in his career than Mo can dream of. One makes plays when healthy and the other doesnt. How do you not even perform in a contract year? Lol you're right, the comparison is goofy. Its a no brainer who should be here. Not the guy with no physical or mental ability. Atleast Bruce is a great athlete. Mo is slow and dumb.

Terrible work ethic and lazy. That's why I wouldnt give him much. Maybe 2 mil a year tops

I don't think I would do $2 million per year. Carter and Durant are both veteran minimum depth players at this point and they are not bad depth to have for that.

Wonder how much Lovie had to do with some of these FA hires...might have been why he was dumped so quickly and out of left field.

I know he gets a lot of hate but would like Carter back. He led the team with interceptions his last season and was the most reliable LB.

Bring him in, shouldn't cost to much and let him compete

carter would be a nice rotation/starter that knows the scheme and has produced solid contributions in the past

Good lord your posting makes people dumber... just stop man.

Mo was shutting down top line WRs like OBJ while Carter was getting splinters this season.

You made a stupid point then tried to top that with an even more stupid point.
Quit while you are behind man. Disown the posts, claim you were hacked, something.

The problem is Carter isn't smart enough to handle working at 3 spots, but Justin Durant is. Carter was passed here by Hitchens.
He'd be an upgrade over Wilber at SLB for sure but so would almost anyone with starting experience.

Carter has started about 50% of his games played and well less than that the last two years. He's not a quality starter.

We benched him and saw him take more money elsewhere to end up back on the bench.

We likely have zero interest right now but you never say no, til you know the money.

jesus what is wrong with this guy? he had so much potential.

I mentioned this last year when he was about to hit Free Agency. He is, ummmm, a little "slow" to pick up his assignments. Even here in Dallas he was pretty bad in the 3-4 initially and bad again his first year in the 4-3 under Rod. He had his good seasons in his second year in both schemes.

So, for him to be good, he needs the exact same scheme and coaches for two years or more.

Does any one know if Carter moved to FL? or does he still have a house in Dallas? If his family stayed, i could see him signing in Dallas for less$$ for this fact alone.

Yeah, the epitome of intelligence is claiming Mo shut down Odell Beckham.

I made a valid point. Anyone wanting Mo (a guy who never did anything of note in his career) and turning their nose up at Carter (an elite athlete who played at high levels in spurts) is crazy. If you're looking for stupid quote your own posts.

On a defense that lacks athletes with play making ability, those 5 picks, whether it be luck or whatever, is nothing to sneeze at. Nobody on our defense last year found themselves in front of a WR or TE and made a play on the ball.

Of course Im a heels fan and want Carter back, but for real, we missed him last year.

Of course, he actually has talent (albeit inconsistent). I'll let clowns be clowns though.
