Keep TWIll and find replacements for Whitehead and Butler.

Neither have found a niche in the offense, or on special teams. We could find the same amount of production in the draft.

I'm hoping Andy Jones will be able to do what Butler could not.

Brice Butler has seen better days.

The backup wide receiver was expected to compete with Terrance Williams this season as both entered their contract year with the Dallas Cowboys. Instead, it was a campaign marred with errors by Butler including a dropped touchdown pass in the NFC Divisional Round.

That followed a weird unsportsmanlike conduct penalty that involved Butler entering the huddle and then exiting for the sidelines. While the latter appears to be a phantom call by a suspect officiating crew, the former is accountable only to the veteran wideout.

And he knows it, too.

“Everybody has to do their individual job to help the team," Butler said, via Fort Worth-Star Telegram. "I don’t really feel like that I helped. Then we lost, which makes it worse. Now I’ve got to sit and think about this for a couple months.”

JJ needs to stop looking for these guys that he thinks he is "stealing" from other teams and can be brought in here to be major contributors. More times than not, if he's a bum on his current team, he's going to end up being a bum on his new team. There are exceptions, but for the most part it doesn't really work out.

Definitely. I think he has more potential than TWill has. Plus, he'll cost a helluva lot less...

I like Ginn but he has been very inconsistent. He's floated around quite a bit too, which is telling.....

Ginn's value is as a return man, but he would be a decent #4 receiver.

Whew, I was almost not going to post or read anything sports related today, of course could not help myself and just wow. I think I'm only 4 or 5 years older than BB, but even back then I was not stupid enough to say anything close to that. The Raiders got the better end of that trade. Christian Micheal, Brice Butler, Matt Cassel...I have faith in McClay, but we gave up draft picks for all those players. Anthony Brown, Dak Prescott, maliek collins, just saying draft picks are more valuable than gold, especially with the need for depth and the cap.

He's had some really nice catches on some of Dak's longer throws, but he also has the lowest catch % and the highest drop % among the team's receivers.

He did own up to his mistakes, which was refreshing.

He certainly doesn't get that from our Head Coach, who refuses to admit he did anything wrong.

Maybe Jason Garrett can learn from Brice Butler?

When he didn't compete for that ball, I lost quite a bit of hope for him. Biggest Game of his life and He didn't go get that ball, he tried to let it come to him in traffic. NO SIR
