Burger King- Thinks Cowboys will cut TO

omg. IN the audio, laufenberg says right out what I am talking about. he broke owens down during cbs 11 pregame for the cincy game. I didnt record it on my computer, I did on my tv and didnt capture it.

If I had the video I would put it up...what is so hard to understand. I just gave you the audio proving it happened.

and what is wrong with the audio? that is a trained professional sitting in the stadium watching the play develop and then explaining what and how things happened.

So if I provide some of the audio that is not quality enough?

Your a nut. If you want me to link the gameday broadcast to some video i will at some point, but the problem is the tv broadcast gives an impossible view most of the time to properly explain what is happening.

Expecting a fan to have coaches film makes you certifiable.

Audio is so 70s. Give me video or give me nothing. ;)

I don't need evidence. I'm not trying to prove any incriminating points here. Thus far we have pure speculation.

Forget it, I'm not going to spend more time digging up evidence that you are going to dismiss out of hand because it doesn't fit your opinion.

Come up with something better than "because I say so." Neener neener

Which has been proven false. In fact there is still plenty of room to adjust contracts with the people who were signed last year and create more room.

He's full of it.

It seems to me there are two questions regarding Owens most of us have argued: 1) Should the Cowboys release him? 2) Will the Cowboys release him?

Where the first question is concerned, I'm of the opinion the answer is yes. And I don't think that one's particularly close, though I know some others disagree. He is a receiver in his mid-30s. I don't know that releasing him can be a terrible mistake. I wouldn't take the risk of keeping him in the clubhouse on what is still a relatively young team.

The second question is more difficult. It comes to one guy's opinion, obviously: Jerry Jones. A couple of weeks ago, I would have said it was 90/10 in favor of Owens returning. Now I'd put the odds at maybe 50/50.

I don't have any particular insight. But here are three things that have swayed my thinking: Jerry Jones has been more silent than I would have expected. Peter King seems to have a clear pipeline to Jones. Stephen Jones hasn't made an effort to correct the assumption that he wants Owens gone.

I think I'm as responsible for the frequency of posting on this thread as is Bleu Star.

Here is what surprises me about the pro-Owens folks: I'm surprised they aren't quicker to concede his flaws. It seems to me those are readily apparent. I'm surprised more of them haven't conceded the bad but argued it was outweighed by the good.

You can't be serious. I came in on this thread today. It was already at over 160 posts before I even saw it. Now have I contributed to the post count padding in the last few hours? Sure.:p: Someone has to keep the sedimentary TO detractors lively and vibrant.

Ha! Well, I have been accused myself of being pretty stone-like. I can't be too critical of another.

Hmmm. I thought I was being your ally there, sir. Read back a few posts, maybe.

That all works for those that like to type type type. I do enough of that at work. At home, not so much. Stick around. You'll understand my viewpoint eventually.
