Can you provide proof of the concept of love; and if not, would you deny it out of hand?

Pretty much everyone is saying it. Even the ones who think it won't happen believe Jerry will balk at the last second, but it'll still be a close call.

I think he's done here, especially with Garrett coming back.

He may not be done even if Jerry wants him to be. Won't his cap hit be gi-normous?

5b. can they handle a double team? NO!
6. the defense being able to get turnovers?
7. the defense being able to get off the field on 3rd down?
8. the safties being able to grasp th concept of a zone coverage?
9. the coaching staff being able to see the secondary doesnt grasp zone coverage?
10. some athletic lb'ers that can do more then just rush the qb?
11. the team getting a NT that will allow ratliff to play a more natural posistion that he isnt wore out by the end of the yr.
12. special teams who can cover a kick/punt?
13. special teams who can get more then 15 yrds on a kick, 5 yrds on a punt?
16. kickoff past the 10 yrd line so teams dont constantly start past the 35?

is cutting owens the cancer going to cure all of that? is owens affecting any of that? because anybody that actually watches the game and doesnt worry about owens can see thats whats wrong with the team. not this so-called owens is a cancer crap.

i say athletic lb'ers who do more then rush. because thats basically all ware does. he can cover, but he's not in the caliber of a harrison, or a woodley.

yep, alot of those turnovers come on plays where he is forcing the ball to TO...

yep...no longer any pressure from the player or owner to call pass plays designed to get the ball to TO at all costs...plus HC already has said they will be a more run oriented, physical team going forward

everyone of those guys can get open, in fact alot of times they are wide open when Romo forces the ball into double covered TO

when did Harrison and Woodley start playing ILB? and when do they do anything other than rush the passer? once or twice a game?

Ware is eons more a complete player than Woodley or Harrison by the way. Did Harrison make a single play again yesterday?

They couldnt run the ball a lick and lost to a 2 win Detroit team at home to close the season. What was your opinion of that? Sparano is God huh?

i know its a losing battle but this place is full of people who just think its their duty to either go with the mass opinion. or try to post some unwitty comment that they think is the contrary.

if owens gets cut, ill still be a cowboys fan. but i dont he's this single focal point thats affecting the growth of the team as some would be led to believe. does he say things that make u scratch ur head? sure, but what player doesnt. who cares its not like he affects the team on the field. ive never heard people bash a guy that ives 150% in games, and more then that for practice and the offseason.

The cap thing isnt an issue at all. He only counts about 680k more to cut than to keep.

The issue is you've then cut a player and have the 9+ mils in dead cap space with no player for it. But there are others here to pick up the slack. He is not the only quality WR we have, nor th only quality offensive player we have.

The "coach" (& I use that term loosely) ran away from his perceived problems instead of embracing them and turning them into positives for his team. That's not much of a coach IMO.

I haven't vilified anyone at the expense of TO besides the media. All I've heard from the media is "anonymous sources" saying this or that, and spewing the same line that TO is a distraction, cancer, and is the primary cause of all the 'Boys problems. Cut him, and everything will be honkey dory. Yeah right.

This team suffered from a lot of issues last year. TO isn't even close to the primary reason.

No one denies that. Why do the TO lovers always fall back to that and but not acknowledge that he was one of the problems?

Besides the laundry list of problems, a major one was the fact this team was not a "team." Getting rid of people who aren't with the program, particularly high profile, charasmatic ones sends a big message that unity is first and foremost. As the saying goes, no "I" in team.
