But We Haven’t Beaten Anyone With A Winning Record. Oh, Wait

The one that irritates me most is when the Cowboys defeat a division team and the critics say, 'they're familiar with that team so they had an advantage and should be able to win.' Like it doesn't apply to both teams. So annoying.

Mostly agree. The more games that are played, the better idea you can get on how good a team is.

But anything is possible on any given week.
Injuries as well.’Wins over teams with x record’ just doesn’t mean anything. We know when we’re going to face a tough opponent, and we know our third game in 12 days is going to be tough no matter the opponent (Seahawks, which we could’ve easily lost). Miami loses last night in that disaster? Devito beats GB? The former was a huge upset, the latter an upset, but not as big.

Like you said, ags. All these guys get paychecks, and most will have a a few really good games during a football season. If it’s against us and we’re not ready, we catch an L.

Meanwhile, are we going to keep grinding and putting our cleats on our opponents throats, or are we going to start thinking we’re something special and get hammered by one of the better teams we’re about to face? Sure would like for us to hit the field every week with the dawg mentality. Guess we’ll see.
