The fact that he comes out for Wilcox and is essentially in a rotation with him at safety? How about no interceptions in his career yet?

Are we looking at a possible bust here?

I did see him covering the slot a bit , I just need someone to reassure me because it is concerning.

Not concerned, but definitely want to see more as the season progresses. He does seem late a lot on deep passes(this game and some last year). Scandrick looked like he should have had help on that long completion to Beckham, but Jones was late getting over.

He hasn't impressed so far looks like a JAG up to this point but it's still early. Never really had high hopes for him because most of the talk surrounding him wasn't his football ability but his world record broad jump.

It's the guy's 1st season playing that position full time (one game in, mind you) and you've got people ready to jump off the cliff over that? Really? ****, come on man.
He's an athlete not a football player. We screwed this pick up but I'm not surprised this is the same team that took Marcus Peters (8 INTS, 2 TDS in his rookie year) completely off their board. I understand you want to be patient, but the tentativeness, poor tackling, and no Ints is a telling sign.

I'm willing to give the kid a year at the position and evaluate form there. Some aren't, obviously.

Good to see ya, BTW, Z.

The fact he was moved around so much last year was a red flag to me.

Its difficult as a rookie to learn one position but this team had him playing like 4?

That tells me the coaches had a problem.

Or the player had a problem.

Nowhere else on the team have we moved a rookie around so much.

Not in the OL..

not in the running backfield..

not with the WR corp.

So it needs watching..

he needs to make some plays to justify his draft position.

He can't just be a JAG

I think he will be a very solid player.

However, I can't understand why they were taking him out. Let's hope his play improves. I'm not worried yet, but I'm not pounding my fists saying he'll be great either.

National media people love him

I'm more worried about Zeke than I am Jones. If nothing else, Jones is a tight end stopper of the highest order. That dude doesn't give up anything to a TE.

Now, we need to get him on some receivers!

I never was high on him, seems to be just an average player. Was and am hoping he can turn out to be solid for many years. He blends right in and doesn't stand out in a bad way yet.......that is a good sign
