I've read elsewhere that Dave Campo said that Carr was the one who was not in his zone.
The throw was amazing-- but the most incredible part of the play was the catch by Cook.
Blame the defense all you want-- that play was one in a million. Sux that it happened TO us instead of FOR us lol
1 Super Bowl in 9 years. NOTRodgers is gonna beat you regardless. He's the best QB in the game. That's why your coach has to "coach around" Rodgers. A few ways to do that are 1) not trading FGs with a QB that could put up 50 on you, 2) not giving them the ball back with enough time to win, and 3) stick to your running game to control the clock and keep Rodgers off the field. We failed on all 3 of those accounts. It was a bad play by Byron Jones but it wasn't his fault that we were even in that position.
"I kept my eyes on Rodgers like I'm coached to"
Thats just rich. Anytime I watch our DBs their back is to the QB like a bunch of fools. Or is it just the safeties who are coached to see where the ball is coming from?
The Texans' defense held them to 21 points, and 4 of 12 on 3rd down.Rodgers is gonna beat you regardless. He's the best QB in the game.
Jones made a mistake but Marinelli lived in mistakes. He should have blitz the hell out of Rodgers on that play, but of course he has no balls.
How often do you see a TE make a toe touch catch like that on the sideline?
Almost never. I don't recall the last time.
That's weak sauce jones! Eric berry would have sniffed that BS out and intercepted that pass
Green Bay and Rodgers got lucky on that call. The Cowboys came out cold and slow. I blame the bye week and the fact that the "Coach" decided to rest all the young and healthy star players for the last game of the season. Too much time off for young guys. In the end, what good did it do the Club!
Eric Berry and Jones would be a great safety tandem

In December.
He made a mental mistake. He bit on the notion that Rodgers was going to run. He needed to decide in a split second whether he was going to defend Rodgers running up the seam or continue to trail away and carry the receiver closely up field.
He chose wrong.
I don't see the logic in worrying about him running at all. They needed 36 yards to kick a 56 yard field goal, on top of that by the time he ran for 36 yards the time on the clock is zero. Unless he was going to run all the way for a Touchdown there was no need to worry about him running. I really hope you're wrong about this because if they were worried about him running there it is all time dumb.
Well you just can't coach stupid now can you?
