Reminded me of the meltdown that Rahim Moore had with Denver in 2012 vs. the Ravens on that Flacco hail mary to Jacoby Jones. I don't think he ever recovered from that...he's on his 4th team in six years already. Let's see if Jones has the same fate

He said Jared snuck behind him but the video shows him casually jogging behind him, he needs to admit he screwed up and made a mistake.

He generates his own time quite well. You don't leave just 4 guys in the secondary in that situation.
You send the slot guys off the line and back the others to the 1st down line. You bring it, otherwise as you can see, we're out.

I was hoping that this was posted here. All you knuckleheads that blame Jones for losing that game should be ashamed. I was over the loss by end of day Monday. You think you hurt more than those players? You think your heart is more broken? In the grand scheme, you can easily move on. For the players, it's their lives. They live with the pain forever. You'll be ok.

He first has to assume responsibility, which he has not. He seems to make excuses for his play, which shows poor leadership. It seems his confidence is already shot.

I'm beat down by the fans around here compelled to lynch coaches and players for losing a game. The reality is: they played pretty darn well. We just need some upgrades on our d.

The blame and shame crew are working overtime.

Agreed.

Quite honestly the game shouldn't have come down to that play.

Just like he is coached to do, apparently.
Thats it, they all play like they are coached to play.
playing zone and no jamming, rushing 3 all gave rodgers the chance.
No one even covered cook, he ran to where jones was, and got behind him,
I blame marinelli for this play, he made the call for that scheme.

Jones is the only guy within 30 yards of the line of scrimmage. They didn't need 60 to get in field goal range. Just looks like the entire coverage was too soft. But as others said, few QBs are going to throw a dart that far on the run. Defense could've been better, but it was a helluva throw.

Rodgers put it on the money, Byron was only 2-3 yards away from Cook and would have to be in perfect position to bat it down.

"I kept my eyes on Rodgers like I'm coached to do"
If this is how they're coaching the DBs, something is seriously wrong. You don't completely lock onto the QB in zone coverage. Yes, you look at the QB, but you also keep your head on a swivel to check your surroundings so that you're aware of receivers coming into your zone. That play is the absolute perfect example of why you don't just stare at the QB.

its just that. a great QB made a play in a very small spot. In reality Dallas' inability to contain and pressure Rodgers is more at fault. The secondary is covering 6sec before Rodgers throws the ball. Once Lawrence goes inside and causes a pileup that takes out Collins Rodgers has all day to throw. Great QB made a great throw that 99% of the nfl QBs dont make. PERIOD.

Byron Jones sucks. That's another problem. He isnt a playmaker. He's an athlete. Darren Woodson, Eric Berry, Troy Polamalu, Ed Reed, all make that play... one of those guys is a free agent. Eric Berry. Sign him or the same crap will happen next year at a critical time in a playoff game AGAIN. Try Byron at CB because he is NOT a safety.

Sneaked behind him??? Cook is 6' 5'' 250 lbs. - that's like the T-Rex sneaking up on the jeep in Jurassic Park!?! SMH...you lost sight of him did you, Byron??? Or you got complacent because you forgot who was playing QB???

Rodgers doing his taxes in the pocket and Byron is the culprit. Lol
Shame to see Lawrence opening up his side of the field to AR and to top it off he runs into our nose tackle jamming him up. You can't expect jones or any secondary player to cover for so long and especially against an elite QB.
