I said it before, if you could choose a CB you could do worse.

But we passed on better players who could have impact, namely Brown, simply to make up for the Claiborne error.

Yes were paying the price for the Claiborne error. But I don't think they selected Jones simply because of that. They selected Jones based on need.

:lmao:This reminds me of the Shariff Floyd handwringing. Brown has the developed skillset of Floyd too. Awful coaching. I understand a pet cat of yours didn't get picked but making up unprovable stories about motive is fun!

We already have a Malcolm Brown on the team. His name is Chris Whaley.

As for the Jones pick I'm okay with it because he can run a sub 4.4 and break on the ball. All other traits can be coached.

I'm really happy with this pick. A sore need for sure and he had 1st rd talent. I remember last year there were folks lamenting the Martin pick. The Cowboys personnel acquisition record over the last several years has been pretty darn good. Another reason to have faith in the team.

Where they pro bowlers before he got there?

Ferguson was considered a underachiever before he got there and let's stop acting like he was run off he left for another job.

I think Pollack will do fine but he does not have the track record of Callahan.

Ferguson stepped his game up when Alan Faneca got there. I'd wager that had a bigger impact than Callahan, especially when you consider he fell right back off again when Faneca got cut.
