Byron Jones Videos

Maybe. I've never seen a UConn game, so all I have to go by are youtube videos with QBs who can't make a 15 yard throw to save their life. Blake Bortels may have been the only NFL QB he saw in his entire career.

Can't imagine he saw much NFL talent in 2013, his last full season:

That list includes 2 QBs that were drafted in the 1st Round last year.

Great interview with this guy. He should fit in well around here

Edit: Lol at the comments!

I'm enjoying hearing from the expert "couch scouts". The people that look at his video and exclaim that "he's not that good".

Yet, scouts that actually have been scouts in the NFL claim that his tape is very good.

Hard to know whose opinion to believe.

And they lost by a margin of 66 points in those two games. Doesn't really do much to further your argument.

Bortels was 83% with 4 TDs and no INTs.

I don't know about solid.

I cannot even put a tab on him, honestly.

I can tell you with certainty though.

He is not making this defense any better than it was in 2014.

i don't like the pick either . But does devonte adams still go for 150 yards if Byron Jones was covering him? If so you're right. But, Moore got dominated

This pick was horrible. Would have rathered Brown or Gregory. This guy isn't even a day one starter.

If you spend much time here you probably get an idea of who really studies game footage and who does not.

I have not seen anybody that I believe really studied the game footage say this was a bad pick.

So you have access to and have watched all of the game footage of the guy, excluding a hand full of youtube clips?

Don't know about Brown but Gregory is a pot head. Given the substance policy he won't be around for long. Money and drugs don't mix well.

CB is a very difficult position to project because college football is so wide open. I give him a chance. He's been a starter for 4 yrs, coachable, athletic and willing to learn. At the minimum he's got a high floor.
