What this team needs to do is to jump out and smack these teams in the mouth, early and often. They need a quick start to put the other team on its heels from the get go.

Unfortunately, we are the ones who get punched in the mouth and are reeling from the get go. This has to stop immediately if we want to do anything this year.

Giants, We have Romo ( no offense to Drew ) but he had no chance last year he was literally shell shocked when I was there and watched him.I think we have a better then average chance and if we are fighting for the division when we meet, Well, we have a chance to erase the mess we are in now.

I could careless about the Eagles they suck. and are going nowhere, I will bet dollars to donuts, Its the Giants division to lose. Or ours to take.

Yes I'm a positive thinker but in the NFC there is really no one that scares me, Except the way we consistently beat ourselves. We will gel at the right time.

I will take 7-1... I dont want to go into playoffs not having lost in 2 months..... then you need a 11-0 or 12-0 run to win SB

The thing that i see, is that in reality, our team doenst suck, its not like we're getting beat physically, or, teams are out coaching us. We've just been makin penitles, since Romo's been in, we've had a postive TO ratio, but just bad penlites. So if our team can start to think, there really isnt a team that can beat us. So yea i can see a 12-0 run to the SB. Shoot the steelers did it, why cant we?

No question that we cannot win out. We have the talent to do so. Of course if we played up to the level of our talent we would be 8-0 right now. Indy will be very tough the way Manning is playing now. We need to run the ball and control that game. Giants- we got a shot. NO will be tough but beatable certainly. Atlanta is beatable as long as we contain Vick. Philthy will not play as well as they did in Philthy. Detroit and Arizona are all but give me's. It just comes down to not making mistakes.

It's definitely possible... but probable??

It's just too hard to come out emotionally "up" for every game. To expect them to come out on fire 8 weeks in a row after seeing them fumble and facemask their way to 4-4 is a little (well you said it) crazy...

Even if we did come out and beat Indy and the Giants, the odds are someone's gonna bite us in the butt one week. I'm still hoping we can go 6-2, but expecting much more than that is out there IMO.

OK , Thats fair, But I will have my hopes up. I was on the fence against Carolina secretly hoping we would win knowing full well that would have been a big loss and they surprised me, last week Romo looked real good, So I have allot of optimism. I think were on they way to a good roll right now ( winning streak) and hey I will have my sights on winning all 8. Why settle The fire still burns for me ,( It's all I got, as in watching or following sports on TV) after football season I turn off the TV. So "LEST GO BOYS" !!!! YOU CAN DO IT !!!!!!!

This team would have to play 8 games IN A ROW of good, solid, football without any stupid penalties (Witten alone is good for 1 per game - it's in his contract), without dropped passes (TO - thumbs only - Owens is good for those), without missed assignments (insert free safety of the moment here), without Offensive line meltdowns (pick em here), etc....

Maybe we could see 8 QUARTERS of decent football someday ?

I think we'll end up being 9-7 but if we can be 10-6, that might do it. I think the Giants will win the East, The Bears will win the North, The Saints will win the South and Seattle will win the West. I think the Wild Cards will be either the Fal-coons or Carolina out of the South and the Vikes out of the North.

I think we will miss the playoffs but we will be a much improved team. I think next year is the year we challange for real.

Why would we be characterized as Band Wagon Fans?

Why would you think 9-7 or not winning out would constitute pain and suffering?

I can't speak for others but I enjoy watching these Cowboys of late. I see them making progress. To me, that is just as enjoyable as watching them win championships. Really, even more so. It makes the championships that much sweeter.
