I think it's would be horrible. The game has passed him by and he was never the GOAT to begin with.
I think it just got stale in NE post Brady. But he has more knowledge about defense than any guy around. He’s made meh corners into great players. The same at LB. This team needs a leader and I can’t think of anyone they would look up to more than the guy that’s done it all.

Wasn't Bill not a fan of players getting big deals?? He wasn't for that
I think he'd love to coach a talent like Micah Parsons. His extension will be the biggest in defensive player history but the immediate impact will create tons of cap space by lowering his 2025 salary.

I think people forget one major thing when it comes to BB.

He will COMMAND respect in that locker room. He isnt a Garrett or McCarthy. He has won the big one multiple times, and has done it all. He also has a very special player in Micah to build his defense around.

One thing he wont be scared to do. Is trade players like Diggs away if they dont want to hit people.

BB is the best hire this team could make if we are talking about retread coaches.

I’m amused by the narrative that since BB doesn’t trash Jerry to the media that he would also be willing to endure what it takes to work under him and make major concessions as to how he prefers to operate. Those two are polar opposites approach-wise.

So who is changing? If it’s Bill, then you’re not getting what youd expect anyway.

As far answering the OP question….it makes too much sense that Jerry will want to “hit the ground running (one of his go to phrases to sell his nonsense), with Dak, and no one besides Moore can provide that.

Doubt he wants to pay him 60 per to spend time learning a new offense.

Jerry obviously knows Moore, and knows he can push him around and continue to pull all the antics that he claims are not problematic.

Doesn’t appear to be ready to step back to me. It’ll take at least another two seasons like this one for it to be considered, and under Moore, with this declining roster coupled with the refusal to use FA, I think we may get it.

Not exactly rooting for it, but that’s where I’m at with the situation.

Bill Belicheat is the favorite.
Kellen Moore the alternate.
Deion for clicks to hype it up.

Jerry wants to hire Bellicheck to her the stories about him and his girlfriend.

Give me your next HC. Jerry has the masses pissed at him so does he go big, or does he go comfortable? This team needs an Alpha not a yes man.

If he gets this wrong it will set this thing back for the next 5 years.

Call your shot.
I'm working on my resume...Pappy will be my OC, MountaineerCowboy will be my QB coach, Coogi will be in charge of analytics. Big dog and jazz will take the defense and any defense should have a piece of shabAZZ on it....Bobhaze will keep Jerry outta my way.
Go Cowboys

The team lacks discipline and Jerry wants to be comfortable. I’d be shocked if it’s not Bill B.
I will be shocked if it is Bill Belichick. He would be seen and pursued as the new face of the franchise by the media, which is not what Jerry Jones' typically wants.

I’d add that until these two realize that the teams shortcomings were about gaping holes in the defensive line and not about “the oblong ball not bouncing the right way,” I’m not so sure it matters who the coach is.

Also if Philly goes deep into the playoffs and teams are after Moore, Jerry may get turned down.

Then you’re probably looking at something like Rex Ryan with Jerry trying to shove Schottenheimer on him as OC since Dak is “familiar.”

Plausible that the coddling gets worse after the 4/240.

Depends on where they land in the draft....If they think they can get Sanders - I think it will be Deion. Not saying that is what I would do - just thinking Jerry might given the state of the team.

If they end up 3-8 range - I'm not really sure. I think Jerry wants this to be a big hire coach, but there isn't much out there.

BB - the roster is going to very top heavy in talent and I'm not sure he will work too well with that...especially if the "game has passed him by" thought is true.
Kellen Moore - man, he's just not ready to be a HC. I can't see the players looking at him as a leader. Maybe I'm wrong, but he just doesn't scream HC material to me.
Ben Johnson - no way Jerry is going to pay him the money he's looking for...plus I'm not 100% he is even worth it. They have a good combo going with him and DC in Detroit.
Lane Kiffin - the first time was a disaster with the Raiders. He seems to have improved...might be someone to look at?
Mike Vrabel - he might be the favorite to land it but I'm not super excited about him.
Kirby Smart - this would be the big shocker Jerry could try and land.
