I wouldn’t discount Kellen Moore at all. Jerry is familiar with him but letting him leave would also mean he made a mistake, which is very unjerry like

He would just be another Jerry Jones puppet. Besides fans couldn’t wait to get rid of Moore as the OC. It would be a very predictable hire and he’ll be gone before or after his contract is up. It wouldn’t be a hire that would generate any excitement. It would be a typical Jerry Jones move.
Yes kellen would be puppet . But could puppet put enuff offense, ball movement and points in both reg.and playoffs to add with a impact DC one much better than Quinn ..?

Philly has a Barkley that could mask some of kellen deficiencies...providing kellen utilizes saquon to te fullest per run and pass..

We don't have a Barkley unfortunately..heck we don't even have a Derrick Henry..as our beloved owner lied in saying we couldn't afford him...

Yes, We could be at it worse than kellen

- But keep in mind in what was it that force this team to move on without kellen..?

- KM could not make in game adjustments..he could not counter scheme opponents, he could adjust to zone scheme, he could not scheme the RBs in either run or pass game that would've greatly helped dak in the underneath game ..
- the Vic Fangio types could snuff him down and out helplessly and easily..

- Kellen does not evolve nor adjust his offense accordingly...and there are decisions where he'll mysteriously abandon the run ,stop using what did work, in/at early or critical times of a game.

And is kellen a leader of men, or just a X and O guy..??

Count the plus vs minuses with kellen
Kellen Moore seems to run the ball just fine when he has all of the elements firing on all cylinders. I've watched the Eagles and the play calling is different in Philly I believe. You are right about the Fangio types shutting him down so it will be interesting whenever the Eagles play such a team this year. I agree with most all you said about Kellen who I like as a play caller I just wanted him to evolve and here for whatever reasons he just didn't. We used lots of movement pre snap and score a lot and then we see very little of that for the rest of the season. Also just stopped trying to run even when it was working. Boggles the mind. Kellen didn't evolve here but maybe he has grown in areas since. He's young still and needs more seasoning before he could or should be considered for a HC position with anyone. But Jerry being Jerry who knows.

About the only coach Jerry could hire that wouldn’t be looked at as a puppet is Belichick but he’s too old and all his success as an HC came with Brady.

Super Bowl winning coach Doug Pederson will definitely be available and checks all the boxes for JJ.

Ben Johnson offense easily has the highest points scoring team in the nfl, they are putting 40 and 50 points,..how is that Not "Splash " enuff for Jerry ..?
I would love for Ben Johnson to be the hire. He has League circles recognition but not the name recognition needed to "pop" for casual fans or League sponsors. Jerry Jones is not in this for strictly football. He is Vince McMahon...he is in the entertainment business. If the football team also does well, that is the ultimate bonus. Any news about his franchise is good news to Jerry Jones.

Belichick actually brings a true football guy in the building. But, more importantly his name recognition is off the charts. Even if Belichick is past his prime and the League has passed him by, he is still an 8 time SB winning coach (6 as HC and 2 as a DC). He is the "splash" Jerry Jones cares about.

It’s anyone’s guess but I just hope it’s not Kellen Moore or Zimmer. That would be as depressing as the Campo and Wade Phillips hirings.
Agreed, but I don’t think whoever the next hire is could or will succeed here since this roster isn’t one draft away from being fixed. There are still gaping holes in key spots, the depth is gone and about to get worse.

There will be the “Dak isnt healthy” excuse for all next season. After then maybe a second miracle draft could send them in a better direction, but probably not at deep playoff run level.

Unless one thinks Stephen won’t be loathe to taking a hammer to the piggy bank with Parsons’ deal still lingering. No shot.

Pretty sure that open jobs will be Dallas, Jacksonville, and Chicago as of now and maybe NYG. There is a chance Cincinnati opens too if they miss the playoffs again. If I'm a candidate, I would rank Dallas as last out of those teams just in terms of roster and not factoring in the Jerry Circus.

Trevor Lawrence has not been good but he's still younger than Dak and there may be more hope that a new coaching staff can fix him. Chicago is starting to assemble a promising offensive core. Cincinnati has Burrow and Chase and I'd rank them ahead of Dak/CeeDee because they've proven to be able to at least make it to a Super Bowl so far. If NYG, at least they are turning the page on Daniel Jones and the new coach will have his own QB to start over with.

Belichick is terrible at building and we have a lack of resources to build with.

But..

He’s the best football coach in the world regardless. Dude is a in game genius.

Belichick without GM abilities, and with a young, innovate OC would be killer.

I honestly don't even care. The GM needs to change.
Exactly! Why anyone would think a new HC would solve anything is beyond me. And if there is a coach that could overcome Jerry, would that same coach want to WORK for Jerry? Jerry's track record speaks for itself.

Solid point that Kellen may have grown.

Problem there is the roster is much worse than when he was last here and one draft won’t fix that.

Similar to why Rush can’t do as well as he did when Dak missed time two years ago. Rush hasn’t changed much, the results certainly have.
