The crazy thing is that the biggest catastrophe on the O-Line has to be Doug Free....

man free is horrible he is getting his butt kicked every snap now. may be parnell would play better.

Callahan also recommended Leary and Jerry paid him all that guaranteed money. You have to know he's pretty bad when he can't make the roster with all that guaranteed money. Now on the PS, FO just trying to save face.

huh?

What 'all that guaranteed' money?

I don't think it was exactly a stretch. The line stunk last year. A bunch of spare parts on the interior were replaced with some other spare parts parts on the interior. The RT was switched to LT which he has never played. The LT, who looked terrible last year was switch to RT with the assumption that it would magically make him better. It hasn't, in fact he looks worse.

This isn't exactly a "who would have thunk it?" situation. In fact to many it was exactly what was feared.

I dunno. Hard to imagine it being this bad with anybody they practice with and put out there.

Didnt Troy say today that the interior part of the line wasnt all that bad - at least compared to the Tackles?

There are several posters who claimed we would be just fine.

Yes I am calling them out.

Calling them out for what? Do you think you're some kind of message board police? No one on this board or any other board have any control over what the team does or doesn't do. You act like your opinion means more than anyone else's. I've got news for you. It doesn't!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course the Oline sucks. So what? We all knew it was our weakest unit. I was "hoping" it would improve as the season went on. Maybe it still will. I don't know and neither do you. Live with it!!!!!!!!!1

Line looked bad but Romo is holding the ball way too long.

How? He's either running for his life or getting killed. It's not like he's sitting in a pocket and waiting.

I think teams with comparable lines have had success.

I think our line is currently decimated by injury, and thus has had little chance to gel, which is vital for the OLine.

I also think you could have made your point without being an ***.

So you are fine with Romo getting worked. Surprising considering your screen name

Is there a reason I should care what you think?

kool aid drinkers that said OUR O LINE was good enough to get the job done.

That there were worse lines and all in all its not that important that they be any good.

Did you expect anything different...its the Cowboy Way.... Welcome to your Jason Garrett Cowboys.... princton style Football....yeah

Its going on 20years since this team was solid and competitive..I give all that credit to Jerry Jones well done.

AWe come on, we were the best team in the league, this team was the best in the league, blah blah blah.. When are people going to finaly wake up and realize this tean stinks.... They are so flawed on so many levels

Kidding of course!!!!!!

Am I the only one who thinks we should move Free and Smith back to their original positions? It seems to me they were both better before the swap. (I'm not saying Free was good before, just better than he is now.)

burm what's up? You drunk posting or something?

Every Cowboy fan is frustrated with what we've witnessed 2 weeks in a row.

Its hard not to get pissed.

Butt, get pissed at Jerry. Call him out. Call out Red J. Call out the Organization. Not other fans.

So some other fans drank the Kool-Aid and were optimistic about this year. Why fault them for wanting to believe their team would improve? They didnt have a thing to do with the OL. They just want success from the team like we all do.

Too many here take all this stuff posted here way too seriously. This should be fun also. A place to vent about losses and Jerruh. It should provide some laughs as well IMO.

Too soon to give up on Smith as a LT. We have to develop him...too much money and too high a pick for RT. if he gets his game on, then we can help Free on right side till we replace him.
