Hurtz is the product of the system. He is only good because he is surrounded by a great team. People praise him as great. But take away his weapons, his #1 oline, his #1 running game, he is just an average QB. He gets more praise than he is warranted. While Dak will get criticized for the same exact thing that Hurtz gets praised for.

Well yeah, if you make it 1 vs 11 he'll lose. You also realize they were #1 in running largely due to his contributions, right?

You put Dak on that Eagles team from last year and he absolutely tears it up.

#1 Oline in the NFL, #1 run game in the NFL and great passing weapons on all 3 levels. WR, TE, RB

Plus he has an incredible HC and offense that he plays in. Then of course a great defense that lead the NFL in sacks.

Most QB's would thrive in that offense. Look what Purdy and Garrapollo were able to do in SF surrounded by all that talent and great coaching.
The Eagles didn't have a great defense. They matched up well in some games and feasted but a great defense doesn't give up 38 points in a Superbowl.
These days Prescott is immobile compared with Hurts so he wouldn't be nearly as effective in that offense. A big part of why the Eagles' run game was so strong was because of Hurts himself.
Furthermore, did you watch Prescott play last season?

Hurts will perform to an even higher level next season. He's still improving - not on the decline like Prescott.

I am not on Twitter or whatever it is called nowadays. Has he been receiving tweets about interceptions? Or was he compelled to tweet after reading or listening to others commenting on something unimportant?
I don't know if you've noticed but the Dallas Cowboys are the team that's oversaturated on social media and they're the ones that are showing up on most people's feeds 24 hours a day seven days a week 365 days a year talking about things that happen in everyone's practice but we don't get to see it because hardly anybody talks about it because it's not a big deal but when it's the Dallas Cowboys it's being blown up it's some big deal and it's not a big deal..

What's happening right now is everyone is over focused on Prescott's interceptions when you can go around to every team and find negative plays by every quarterback or if you wanted to you could pick apart defenses why aren't we talking about like the 40 touchdowns that Prescott has thrown instead of the nine interceptions or whatever it might be totaled now for training camp it's because nobody wants to talk about positivity they want to talk about negativity that is what world we live in nowadays especially with the Dallas Cowboys. I remember last year's offseason and training camp everyone said we were going to have a historically bad year because we had an historically bad offseason and we were gonna fail..

So much for all those uninformed critics...

It's good to know our defense is honing their skills in training camp. Educate our quarterback until he knows and does better.

As for the Eagles loss in the Super Bowl, they were guilty of poor clock management in the 4th quarter. It could have gone either way.
Pretty much every game in the nfl, you just described..

I mean the Cowboys have only one score losses the last three playoff losses, could have gone either way... mismanagement by the clock?? I thought that was Mike McCarthy 's deal

oh you mean other coaches do it too??? that's crazy and by the way I didn't think there were any of these good losses when you lose you lose, when you win you win... the whole it could have gone either way should have could have would have no they lost. They have one Super Bowl win in 60 years.. But sure they're real proud of that loss blame the grass find excuses..

I thought we weren't allowed to use excuses you come into a game there's one winner one loser and there's only one king crowned at the each season that means there's 31 teams that are all losers...

In our band...we're very happy when a song comes off perfect. But we talk more about our errors, when they happen.
Lamar Jackson threw 9 interceptions over the weekend and I didn’t hear one peep. Except the players should be embarrassed by rating Dak over him.

It's "you're", not "your".

Get better educated, then you can talk to me.

Ok, I apologize. I understand very well how a cellphone's "auto correct" can change a word on you.

sacred LOL all I'm saying is that Dallas Cowboys are under a microscope much more than any other team in the NFL they're overloaded with nitpicking cherry picked crap all over social media it makes it look far worse without context and the fact is that's kind of stuff is happening all around the league people being arrested or someone with a criminal past being looked at to be brought on the team holdouts contract disputes and yes other quarterbacks throw interceptions in practice?? I mean it's not like I'm saying anything that's untrue.. I never thought a quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys could be more criticized and more underappreciated then Tony Romo but Prescott said hold my beer.

My simple questions asked what motivated Bob Sturm. Just Bob Sturm. I have no clue why it blossomed into a Captain Obvious reaction on steroids.

THE Clue is, that's just the way social media is people read something they don't read the 10 pages before to figure out the total replies by each person they simply see the heading in a few replies.. I feel like chiming in it is what we do here.

Heck, I didn't even know we were talking about Bob stern I could care less who is talking about other teams, but I do believe it needs to be addressed that the Cowboys are being overly criticized for the same thing that's happening to other quarterbacks around the league in practice and in Games.

To only talk about the Cowboys and act like it's some issue we have that's going to affect the season and not bring in other proof and context busy irresponsible and ridiculous.
