Camp nugget, Dak threw 9 TD passes yesterday during practice

Key part to take from this:

It happened IN PRACTICE. And for what it's worth, I would say the same thing about interceptions thrown in practice.

Wake us up when he can do this in a real game. You know, like when the defense is actually trying to make a play?

Gotta love the Horsemen, knew one would be in the first few posts. Lol

I see some people are still in a TRANCE!

Even the member, infamous for using that term, did not use it. And you included a gif as added emphasis.

September 5 is still 35 days away. I need a TARDIS. Bad.

LOL.....

Dak could throw 50 TD passes tomorrow, and guess what - it still happened IN PRACTICE. Who cares? Well, I already know a few names of people who do care about stats in practice, but the rest of us, all of us reasonable people with common sense, don't care. Why? It's practice.

Show this to us during the games. Show it to us when the bright lights of the post season are turned on.
Bizarre. Just bizarre. You’re more than blinded by your hate.

Should we give Dak a training camp trophy? Cause we know he won't be holding a lombardi up.
Why do you choose to crap on this? Of course it’s practice. It’s all we’ve got right now and one can get good insight if you allow yourself. But obviously, you don’t. Why?

So what? It's practice. If Dak throws 8 picks today in practice - so what to him too. It's practice.
So you're saying you're not gonna jump on the chance to crap on Dak if he threw 4 picks in 8 passes with 2 dropped picks?

Daks one of the leaders, if not the leader, in plays WITH PRESSURE. You should research first before tasting foot.
You only prove my point. He can recognize a blitz for sure...but he also is a bonafide, certified choker. So, the only explanation for pretty good regular season play against sorry teams vs. his dependably horrible play against better teams and in the playoffs, must be PRESSURE.

My point STANDS.

They live in the "feels" and need to be gassed up by training camp stories that Dak can do it again. Nevermind, who it's against, the lack of game-time pressure that is Dak's kryptonite...let's go to Exxon and get gassed up.

Nope. Wouldn't say a thing

Because i have seen this same crap every year! He balls out vs our D that's installing new concepts and beats up on the nfc east only to lose against playoff teams.

Yeah I don't know why people come with this. Dak has gotten to the point in his career that teams seldom even try blitzing him because he eats it up. He has been top 2 or 3 (often top 1) in the league in that category for like the last 3-4 years. Do people forget that the "kryptonite" for Dak is to NOT pressure him but drop 8 into coverage because his receivers don't get a lot of separation and Dak is averse to throwing to covered people?

Before or After the Defense decides NOT to stop the run??
How come Dak and the offense can't give the Def a lead in the first half (minus the tb game) of a playoff game? You go back and look at all the losses and its the offense doing squat in the first half..

I could be mistaken but didn't the offense score on its first drive in one of those playoff losses recently? And the defense came right back and let the opponent waltz right down the field. The bottom line is it's a team game and both the offense and the defense need to play better when it matters most. I also think the really slow starts under Moore were a product of his approach to the first set of scripted plays. I think he was nearly always too passive in his approach and he never flat out attacked the known weaknesses of the opponents. Instead he kinda poked around at the defense "waiting for the right time." Remember when Linehan was calling plays the Cowboys were damn near a lead pipe cinch to score on their opening drives. That all changed when we handed the reigns to Boy Wonder. I think last year's team with McCarthy calling plays would have avoided a lot of the slow starts if a) McCarthy hadn't taken 5 years off from calling plays and b) they had a back who could punch it in down close or c) a money big body red zone receiver. I think they get better result on all three counts this year.

If they can;t get separated...why would dak make the throw?

Not EVERY route is a timing play.
