Hey, if you can claim it was all LA's fault that we werent running well, then I can claim it was all Flo's doing that we started running better to that side.

See how much easier it is to argue when you conviently use only the aspects of an arguement that suite your point of view?

I figured if I threw out the bait you wouldnt be able to resist walking into the trap. And I was right.

:laugh2: it's a known fact that our scheme employs lineman who can pull on running plays, LA can't, and even you admit as much in this very, same thread

set me up? :lmao: you remind me of the Seinfeld episode where George tries to set up the mechanic w/ the candy bars

why don't you put more effort into saying something that actually makes a modicum of sense and can be backed up by fact, that would probably be more beneficial than trying to 'set me up'

first thought that came to mind was the Seattle game back in 2004 when LA pulled for Julius and went 50 yards into Seattle territory. Did LA really decline in 05'? I don't know..I still think LA is an upgrade over Kosier anyday.

Oh I have, several times. I'm just dissapointed that you can't acknowledge and learn from your flaws.

You see, the difference between you and me is this: I acknowledge my brain farts and enjoy throwing them around as humor along with everyone else.

You, on the other hand, dig down into a corner, set up a barricade and refuse to let up, no matter how many different ways your argument has been taken apart.

:lmao:

fact: we improved running to the left-side over '04 and '05 w/ Kosier in '06, it was the only argument I made and which you've yet to logically refute

unfortunately, the facts don't support this line of thinking

*Sigh*

Per the usual, I suppose

I've refuted it using the summerisfunner method of debate, but apparently that is only good when it suites your argument. Somewhat ironic, no?

from you? yes

once again, HeavyHitta fails to produce any certifiable facts to back up his claim

I'll let up when you show me a stat, or something, where Kosier wasn't an upgrade over LA

and there's a reason why Frank Gore was 3rd in the NFL in rushing with 1695 yards

If you're trying to disprove the idea that you only use selective facts, you sure could have foole dme

You and I both know there is no possible way to prove with written stats that LA would have been better than Kosier because LA wasnt here last year blocking. And even if you were to compare his previous year to Kosier's last year, LA was having to help a pitiful group of LTs after Flo went down. I have no problem agreeing we ran better to the left this year, but you can no more say that was because of Kosier than I can say it was because of Flo.

I can, however, point to the fact that Larry Allen made the Pro Bowl and Kosier did not. I can also point to the fact that Kosier gave up more sacks (granted, he was injured and played somewhat less). I can also point to the fact that Frank Gore, a realtive unknown, instantly became a 1,500 yard back with a 5.2 YPC on LA's side when he arrived.
