 I'm just gonna stop, it's obvious some people will never be convinced that there are other OGs than Larry Allen, and that we can do just fine w/o him

i think it's a combination of having LA for all those years and having a vivid memory of Kosier grabbing Sean Taylor's facemask to help lose us the game

Sergeant Weinecki...? I must point out a glarying D&C breach conducted by yourself, in that with any change at rate, during an exercise of movement, such as typing slow enough to be understood...you first, MUST give a prepatory command, that is then followed by the command of execution....

So, the prepatory command: Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaa....

and the command of execution: Right!:lmao2:

In a 'classical' offensive line, the left guard is most often the more mobile and often the smaller of the offensive line members...with the right guard being reserved for the large and dominant run blocking guard....but, with the Cowboys, there is a good history of large and dominant guards on both sides of the center, that smash mouth type of play, that causes defenses to dig in instead of flying off at the snap of the ball. The large dominant approach blows out of the water, discussions as to zone blocking and second level blocking requirements for efficiency. That Kosier was tons better than a collection of linemen in the past five years, that had problems fencing off a pasture, only goes to direct cause of comparison....:lmao:

With an upgrade in dominance, the terrible flying towels of Pittsburg, could make a visit back to Dallas....

 What, the arrival of Justin Blalock at left guard, wouldn't be an upgrade if plugged in between Andre Gurode and Flozell Adams, where he is almost guaranteed to be able to get his hands on all opposing players entering HIS zone? By the way, Dallas is, very, very, very intrigued with the young lineman....what, Kosier couldn't stay on the roster and be a very prominent reserve, still retaining his current skill levels?

I am thinking, believe it or not, that the stay or departure of Marco Rivera will have something to do with how this is approached....whether an offensive guard or an offensive tackle is taken high in the draft...but, that is predicting, and is totally subjective...NOT requiring a command of execution.

Kosier played pretty well for a no namer picked up from detroit, if you can upgrade then you do it but it is Kosier's job to lose and based on his performance last year it is not a detriment to have him in the starting lineup.

Kosier is a solid starter, but we could do better. However, I have no problem skipping on this position in the draft until later on, because like I said, Kosier isn't great, but he's pretty solid.
