So what happens when these Coordinators start getting into it, cause one of the three is sucking and the other two have to pick up the slack?

What happens when the ref asks if they want to decline a penalty, who gets to choose?

What happens when you need to throw the red flag?

The Head Coach is the central figure of the team. He is the onfield CEO. He delegates responsibility to his supervisors (coaches). Those coaches then delegate responsibility to the workers (players). The Head Coach is there there to make sure the operation is running smoothly.....all 3 facets of the game are in proper working order......all angles and bases are covered.....egos are massaged......and a buffer between the players and officials.......and sometimes the players and the media.

The Head Coach is a vital and integral part of any sport. Having no Head Coach would be like having no shop forman, no principal, no office manager, no shepherd that leads the flock to greener pastures.....

NO Head Coach = EPIC FAILURE for franchise
