After all this bs you just typed, I have the same question for you that I started this thread with.... Is this Dak throwing deep passes that people said he couldn’t? That’s all I wanna know, for now. Can you explain this to me? I’m not claiming he’s a Hall Of Fame Quarterback. I’m not saying he will undoubtedly win a SB. I’m not proclaiming he’s gonna have a 5000 yard 30 tds and 6 interceptions type season either. That remains to be seen. But I do believe this videos shows Dak Prescott tossing deep throws on the money in live games. Am I correct?
Prescott's problem is mostly mental.
If you go back to his college days , he has always been this way..
He FEARS interceptions , and while that can be a good thing , it also makes him a very limited QB..
Throwing deep is risky , but it's a nessesary risk.
We are in the bottom 5 in the league since Prescott took over in deep passing..
So while he "can" throw deep , he is mentally unable to do so..
That being said , Dak does seem to "wind up" on longer throws and if you see guys like Watson or Mahomes , they effortlessly throw bombs with the flick of a wrist..
So what can I tell you?
I know there have been succesfull guys with "average" arm strength in the league before but they did it by throwing guys open (throwing with anticipation to a spot) but Dak seems to struggle with that also and his conservative nature doesn't help either (needs to see a guy wide open before pulling the trigger) so I don't know..
Too many things to fix.
