Can we all agree that Dak is at least a decent QB?

You nailed it brother. Too bad my ability to use this site's emojis were also taken away, if not I would give you a thumbs up or nail-on-the-head emoji.
Weird why.
I think it is a glitch that came up when the new CZ system\format was installed.
I didn't the emoji link in my comment box at first, but it is there now.

The Dak haters and Dak stans have their talking points, but what it seems to boil down too is this: Dak is an excellent regular season QB that simply fails in the playoffs. Nothing more, nothing less. It is his track record. Not winning enough in the playoff’s doesn’t mean he sucks. It means that he isn’t good enough when the stakes at highest.
This would be a good description for a baseball player. Quarterbacks don't play in a vacuum. Dak, like Cousins, isn't good enough to win in the playoffs with an inferior team. Hell, most quarterbacks aren't. Rodgers doesn't win in Minnesota, not with one of the worst defenses in the league.

When you pay QBs like Dak and Cousins a ton of money, it's for regular season success.

Dude your Avatar screams “Look at me! I was in the Army! Aren’t I great?!”
Again, having pride in one's service to you is dishonorable? Funny. Oh, and interesting how you say nothing about AC and others slandering my service.....but then again I am not surprised given the 'chosen ones' status you and others hold around here.

I could care less about the name calling but demeaning someone's service to defend a football player is downright pathetic.
So everything is in play except your service? thats seems reasonable. It does explain alot though. How do we determine who has served and who hasnt?

No idea what AC or anyone else said and don’t care. But maybe if you didn’t throw your service in peoples faces you wouldn’t get those insults. Do you see anyone else wearing their service on their sleeve with their avatar? Do you think the rest of us who served aren’t proud of our service?

Easy: don't bring up someone's service regardless of their member name as it simply does not apply to discussing sports. As I have said, I disagree with several members and am equally guilty of the immature name calling/insults but never once have I disparaged someone's service as anyone that volunteers to defend this great nation should not have that questioned in a trivial sports discussion board.

I am uncertain how many members there are in the CZ but am pretty sure there may be a few that display their service....that does not make them fair game for insults nor does it mean they are 'flaunting' their service.
As for your service or anyone else's, absolutely you should be damn proud and for that aspect, you and others do have my respect....regardless of differing opinions about any and all things Cowboys/football related.

Doesn’t mean he should be disparaged for it. How about this…don’t use it as an insult if you go about your daily business of being surly and insulting people. I didn’t serve but it’s one of the first insults I see when it comes to an inconsistent QB from a lot of people. It’s weird to me that people go there.

Another thing, why is Dak so controversial? He’s not special and he’s not horrible. He’s inconsistent and can wow you one day and crap the bed the next. Life in the middle is so much less exhausting

I agree you shouldn't disrespect anyone's service, here is the problem with putting caviots on what is exceptable with making derog comments to other and what is not...your feeling for someone's service could be anothers feelings on the derog your using towards them....once again we get back to the reason for the derog is over another person niether has met.. so while i would not say anything about service either i also wouldn't insinuate thier love interests as derog and such because thats may be just as bad to those memebers as being derog towards you about your service. right? defend the opinion defeat anothers opinion hell call THE OPINION stupid thats fine i just dont understand the need to go personal with other memebers some have here....

I have to admit I had to read that reply a few times as it was like the rubix cube of replies....and damn that thing tormented me when younger and trying to solve it (yes, I admit to removing all the pieces and rebuilding it while claiming I solved it).
Your sentiment is received and all I can say is I personally will try and do better to leave it to the subject at hand.

Grampa Rodgers is the best QB in the NFC, that's the bracket he's in. Hes "decent" because the bar is low, especially compared to the previous era. I have no faith he can win again the AFC in the Superbowl, but maybe he could get there if the team around him is solid enough, and the NFC continues to be bad.

Talk is Jets and Packers have a trade in place for Rodgers......odd seeing such a mass exodus the last few years wherein middle to top tier QB's are heading to the AFC.

When looking at the NFC, should Rodgers go to the Jets, you have guys like Hurts, Stafford, Carr, Cousins, Murray, Fields, and Dak as the 'named' QB's in the NFC.....while the AFC has guys like Mahomes, Burrows, Allen, Herbert, Rodgers, and Lawrence.

Crazy times.

Don’t know of anyone else that does it. I guess we were raised differently.

No, we don’t agree.

This dude is in year 8 of a system coddled exclusivity to his skill-set, with a far superior roster to the garbage teams he’s been playing in his own division, of which no QB like him is ever afforded such stability, and he’s a walking pick 6, after the HC and OC told him yo stop being such a check-doesn’t Charlie and the defense is now giving him multiple TOs and short-fields to work with..

If this guy landed on a roster like the Giants with their OL and WRs, he’d be another QB we never heard of…
