Can we find a RB better than JuJones in the draft?

TO and Terry aren't going to be here forever, the WR class this year is the strongest position in the draft, WRs don't come out of the gate usually and have success, so the best thing to do would be to get one of the talented WRs in a stacked draft class, and develop him behind TO and Terry for a year

we need another pass-rusher, I don't know how anyone can be so dim-witted to think that we don't

we need a 3rd corner for when Newman goes into the slot, because Aaron Glenn isn't cutting it, and he's only here for 1 more year, you need 3 good CBs in this league

Maybe you're the dimwit that doesn't realize the biggest thing holding back our pass rush was the scheme, not the talent.

and noone is putting Julius' gonads on his chin either, so why don't you stop picturing gonads on some dude's chin, queef?

I was trying to get you to see the other point of view, Dimwit.

You'd have seen that if your nose wasn't halfway up JuJo's bunghole.

Conversations with name calling like this make me think that one-week bans should be handed out much more frequently. People need time to cool off!!

They can come back and talk about facts rather than slinging personal insults.

Its clearly written in the forum guidelines that we are not supposed to tell the mods how to do their jobs. You keep this line of posts up and well see who gets banned faster.

no, it's just an observing that Fuzzy can't stop talking about Julius in a negative light

It truly is the sign of the fool when one thinks that by simply repeating the same thing over and over will make it true. Just to refresh your memory i said this:

I have said time and time again that Julius would be great if he were only used in the proper role. I have gone and repeatedly told you that I would actually like to keep him and draft a guy on the frist day to go and compete with he and Barber. Now you call me a person with a vendetta. I call you a person without a clue.

But hey well just ignore this because it doesnt fit your little world.

ok, I got that, now we're on to why RB falls after WR, OLB and CB

again, play w/ the Rb situation w/ a 2nd day pick

It is normally around the age of 8 that children realize that there is a reality outside of there own world. You have no way of knowing what Jones, Phillips and Irelands draft board looks like. You just dont want it so you discount it like a 5 year old would.

Jones is only under contract for one more year and i love how you use that as an excuse for WRs and CBs but wont use it for the RB position but again like a 5 year old you ignore reality for your own wants.

Im not going to discount that WR and CB are psoitions we could use depth at and thus merit consideration. With Phillips recent comments --notice how i consider things outside of my own little world-- about how he sees pass rushing ability with Ellis, Carp, and Burnett i am not quite so sure that OLB is a priority but as with any position i could see us taking that if the value was good.

But your simple discount of RB and S because of your pet players is pretty sad. This board is about talking about the Cowboys not what Summerisfunner wants. You specifically talk about contracts and depth with CBs and WRs yet simply ignore those same issues in regard to S and RB.

Quite frankly its pathetic.

sorry, you're just gonna have to deal w/ it, plus last I heard, this was a forum for opinions

and it's not like there's any indication from anyone that RB is a high priority, so getting a RB high is what you want

what is it exactly that you got? That you were completely offbase saying that all i had to sy about Jones was negative?

i am not against a RB in any round. Actually i am open to well valued players at any position we draft from.

My thoughts are that we trade JuJones for the best draft picks we can acquire and sail him off into the sunset. Let's find a way to get Adrian Peterson and we're set. On a worse case basis my feeling is that JuJones is easily replaceable with one of our draft picks. He has been okay, but certainly not outstanding to date.
Thoughts?

From the nerve center of everything that is Cowboys and where truth and accuracy are your daily intruders, some thoughts about trading JJ. Ahem.

Yeah, you can get someone better in the draft. But it might take two or so years to develop him to the skills of JJ. And it might take trading up a bit with lots of money and surrendering of valuable drafts picks to get a . . . rookie.

Saaaayyyyy. why would we trade a RB just to get the same in the draft. Years from now?

I don't get it.

no its an option that im open to just like the other positions i mentioned. with the jones trade rumors that dont fit your world the idea makes a lot more sense thus all the discussion and threads on the subject.

again you ignore your hypocrisy concerning WR/CB vs S/RB but that is what i have come to expect from you.

because jones has one year left on his contract and the cowboys are willing to trade him whereas a first round pick we keep or at least 5 years.

Here is a little bit on how you can determine the credibility of a news source. When you get multiple sources from multiple markets that are not citing each other as sources then there is credibility to the story. If itt was just one of them that was saying this you might have a point but when they all say it that is a different story altogether. But hey you keep your head firmly in the sand there summer.
