if we can't run the ball and get push, we are beat. This game is won and lost in the trenches with physicality. We been lacking in this area. The teams that have beaten us were dominant in that area.. PHYSICALITY UP FRONT. Denver showed teams how 2 beat us. They punished us by being physical. We better be well prepped come Sunday or we may get embarrassed. It will be a defining moment for this team and Mike McCarthy concerning his future here.

Brother I am really hoping as we have a golden opportunity here with many of our stars in their absolute prime and an infusion of young playmakers that give us a punchers chance of making something special happen this season

You might want to revisit this based on the Patriots playoff and Super Bowl runs of the past 20 years. I hate playing for FGs during a game, but a massive number of playoff games come down to a kicker. It's sad but true.

This team must Play with urgency like their hair is on fire. I hope Zeke is listening, Dak as well. The oline needs to realize they are replaceable and play like their life depends on it. Jerry never holds these guys feet 2 the fire. Will MM? We are very dangerous if we can consistently run the ball and get some push. We need fresh legs at RB. Zeke needs 2 be benched/rested. Clement can do the job for at least 1 week.

How many years has it been? I keep hearing you can't play defense in today's league, then I see the Patriots, or even the WFT, holding teams under 300 yards and not allowing 50 yard pass plays every game.

and 2 this day, defense and a decent run game wins Championships. FB isn't a complicated thing unless teams make it that way.

Sorry, as to outlook, I was a soldier and I just didn't have room for doom and gloom. Not and be a leader.

Like x10 Great post all true . This is what Im very afraid of . We know why we cant stop the run on defense . We absolutely positively refuse to invest a 1st round pick on an all-world dominant DT We work around it every year watch our LBs get beat up because of it ,and generally watch everyone's job be harder on defense because we refuse to fix this problem.
On the other side of the ball it dosent make sense . We have Probowlers high draft picks and flat out should be able to run the ball effectively with almost anyone but we cant .

This is where I believe coaching comes in , this team needs a more physical mind set to be able to finish at crunch time

Hell, I'm still carrying a score to square against a couple of Green Bay more recent victories against our Cowboys. Naw, I still don't like them a little now!

I hate that freakin team their arrogant QB and that horrible place they play in . I still hold a grudge from the ICE BOWL
 
Im just saying it ahead of time . I think Dak is going to have to pull the stops out and run the ball a bit in this game . He may have to do this to be the finisher in this game .
Im just getting the feeling that he may really have to put the team on his back kind of like Roger did and make some things happen with his legs
 
Like I said, this game will define MM going forward. Fair or unfair. JJ holds this game against WFT in very high regard. He's fired coaches for losing this game. MM has 2 win Sunday or I can 99.9% promise he isn't here in 2022.
 
Don't let Heneicke look like Drew Brees and we win. Stop the run which means holding them under 100. managing Mclaurin, keeping him contained. I think we win if we do that. Again, it will depend on our big uglies on both sides of the ball and how physical we are. We MUST set the tone early.

That was a Garrett saying .A guy who flat out looked like he had never been in a FIGHT in his life what a joke . The whole team took that about as seriously as if MR Rogers came as a guest speaker and told them that in a team meeting LOL
