I don't want this to sound like a wise-guy comment, but they're going to have to get another QB (soon).

Everyone, including I would luv to see Romo get a ring. But I survived Danny White not getting one as a starting QB... It happens. Lot's great QB's don't.

That doesn't mean they don't try improving the team. What it means is that they don't mortgage the future so we don't have to live with three "5-11's" again.

The Broncos committed the Cardinal sin, they paid age. There are other free agency avenues. If the Cowboys want to get back to this stage again, they cannot sit back idle. If the goal is long term, fine. But there is a legitimate window closing with Romo and Witten.

I agree but I think rookies and draft picks can improve your team. That hunger and youth. I'm not saying don't pay for guys. You will need to. Find another Jeremy Mincey out there. Or find another Justin Durant. Those type of guys. Spending a grip on Suh.......i'm against that.

You also have to remember there's a reason a guy is a free agent. Its either to get overpaid or he's lost a step.

Denver is 32m under the cap right now. If Peyton retires they are 48m under the cap.

How did going all in hurt them long term if they are that far under the cap, even after cutting Peyton? They may have gotten old fast, but they went to the SB last year and won their Division and got a bye this year. It's hard to argue with that.

Now the have the money to reload quickly

If I'm Stephen Jones, I go all in with Dez. Murray, Suh and a FS. I add some top speed to WR/KR and get some DE/DT in the draft
