All,

It's not that bad to move on from Dak in 2024. The cap hit is much better than I expected as long as we do it post June1st.
In 2024, the Dead Cap would be $ 25 million and the cap savings would be 34 Million.
In 2025 we would still owe 25 million in Dead cap and 11 million in cap savings.

Cutting him before June 1st would be devastating as all 64 Million would hit the cap this year.

This is the perfect time to move on. Get off of Dak and McCarthy. You have not and will not win with them
The problem is that he is one of the best qbs in the NFC and you would make the team worse.

You have to bring in Belichick imo.

If you stick with Dak and pay him you know you can’t win with him while also giving him elite QB money.

Like seriously what are we doing here at this point.

You saw what that QB gets you on the big stage and you’ve seen it over and over.

You pay him like he just won a Superblwl then you gotta bring in Belichick.

If you aren’t getting Belichick it’s time to think about starting over at QB.
You can't get nothing for a top qb...that is asinine

If the Boys move on from Dak, I hope they get something for him rather than just designating him as a post-June 1st

Dak is tradable. His no trade clause can be negotiated. He’s not going to want to be in Dallas if he’s not wanted. But I’m pretty sure Jerry is going to extend him.
If you trade him we take the full cap hit this year. It’s untenable

He can ok a trade. There’s no doubt his time in Dallas won’t be fun next year. He could go 17-0 with 75 TDs and no picks and he’s still get no love. I think Dak would ok a trade.
That’s BS. He has earned the scorn. He is now tied with Billy Kilmer and Alex Smith for the worst playoff record by a starting QB with at least 5 playoff starts. He sucks under pressure and pads his stats on cupcakes and in garbage time. His stats are very misleading. He is not nearly as good as they would indicate.

He has a no trade clause. If they're letting him go it's better for him to be a FA, so don't expect him to waive it.

Frankly I'll believe the Cowboys are willing to move from him this year when I see it. They're more apt to extend and lower his cap hit, because Jones boys.
Yeah, I know he has a no-trade clause. That would have to be negotiated as well, but I think some kind of agreement could be reached if a team was willing to give Dak a deal he would accept. One can hope. I would just hate the Boys getting nothing for him.

Dak is the James Hardin of the NFL. Just freezes in the playoffs.... Dallas can solve this we still have a good q.b. I still think it's coaching. Hopefully idiot finally brings in a great coach this time. Not a rookie. Not a guy wanting massages while team practices.;

I actually can’t wrap my head around keeping him. He literally told you what he is after the game.

You don’t have to be a high level ceo type to realize that he doesn’t have the physical brain for the position.
Maybe extend and trade

Cut his pathetic butt
Dak has a no trade clause....High cap hit whether you keep him-trade him-or cut him. So stop talking about getting rid of Dak. Not going to happen.....Wasting your brain cells..... You might as well post 24/7 about Jerry selling the team:facepalm: not going to happen.....
