So what you want, is for us to cut a veteran tackle, that has been to the Pro-bowl???

so we stick McQ in there, and bam week 6 he goes down with a ACL injury, and watta ya know, we're stuck WHERE WE WERE LAST YEAR.

Why are we so quick to cut vetran players, so we can start a rookie. How about we Just BENCH The players, so if a injury happens WE HAVE INSURANCE.

Sometimes fans make no sense.

That is my thought. Keep Flozell. If McQ is good enough to beat him out great. Then Adams makes a pretty darn good backup at both tackle positions. If McQ doesn't show the vast improvement that will be needed for a late round 2nd year player the next training camp, Flozell remains a solid starter. I don't even think you have to restructure his contract.

You're probably right, but don't think Flo will go anywhere. I mean if we were to sign someone high profile than, yes.

btw, GG last night--damn onside kick, I hadn't kicked one in so long I choked..lol

Hey what's up Moz! Yeah, that was a terrific game. You know what you're doing in that game, that's for sure. I can't kick a onsides kick either. I even practiced. Never came close. I had two kicked against me in one game - and they were st8 - not the glitchy kick it along the sideline crapola. I was flipping out. Luckily still hung on.

You've got to tell me what that defense you were calling with Ayodele blitzing into my running lanes was. I posted on C-F a synopsis of the game. Do you realize I had a 77 yard run and ended the game with 76 yards rushing. LOL. I guess I should have started using a fullback or maybe controlling a lineman.

So much money

The sky is the limit.

Use the $12 freed by Adams/Bledsoe (if Adams goes) to sign Columbo, Gurode, and Romo.

Leaves $20 still for Dielman? Steinbach? Davis? Thomas?

Don't forget Crayton and possibly an extension for Newman.

i don't know of any lt you can get for 5 mil that is even as good as adams. drew will retire. crayton i believe is a rfa so he will get resigned easily.the only real decisions with our team will be gurode and colombo.i suspect we try to keep both but 31 other teams may have a hand in that decision.we will have all year to work out a deal with romo.we have to sign another backup qb. i don't see us doing alot in f.a after the last couple of years. maybe one big name if someone speacila is there. some may depend on where ellis is in his rehab. if he shows by then he is not going to be able to return to form and a. thomas does come free he may get a seriuos look but i don't think we will sign any f,.a. olinemen. we have 8 picks so what better way to get olinemen

I think it's already clear that McQ is rated higher by the coaching staff than what Petitti or Tucker were.

That's the only reason I think there's a possibility that Adams won't be back. I don't think we'll draft an OT in round 1 and put a rookie out at LT. It just won't happen. It's either McQ or Flozell in '07.

Possibly a FA, although there probably won't be any out there better than Flozell.

Someone in a prior post suggested A. Thomas if he isn't franchised. That would be a great signing.

I'm feeling a little ********, but isn't the Ravens A. Thomas a DE/OLB? Not sure we would sign him to replace Flozell Adams.

Here is a list of Free Agent offensive lineman complied by Sack Master at http://www.cowboys-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?p=594507&posted=1#post594507

I tried copy and paste, but this forum doesn't support the embedded html formatting I guess.
