Sorry dont have a link yet, I just saw it on the scroll at the bottom of sportscenter. Mortensen is being cited with the info.

I wonder what they offered.

Probably alot more than us.

I hope Jerry is at least considering uping his offer. Other teams are getting better, we need to do the same. Adding rookie benchwarmers won't do it.

I hope it's not a 1st and a 3rd.. that's what I'm hoping we offer.

Snyder is the crazy guy shooting and the cans are the skins draft picks.

I'd be very upset if we offerred anything more than a first round pick for Roy Williams or Boldin.

If someone like the Skins wants to give away huge picks for a WR, let them. This morning their offer for Chad Johnson was revealed to be their first rounder and next year's 3rd...but if he caught 80 passes that would become a 2nd and if he caught 95 balls, it would be another first....that's insane!!!

I think it would likely be a first and a second for Chad...I don't think he's capable of catching 95 balls from Campbell...and he's not going to be happy when they are sailing over his head...Campbell is not Carson Palmer. I'm sorry, but not worth it, imo. He's a great receiver, but he's not going to put Washington over the top.

As the draft draws nearer, the picks become more valuable and the players offerred in trade usually have less value, so we had better not be offerring more selections for Boldin or Roy. I think we should stand where we are and draft players.

ON a side note, I believe the Bengals will end up trading Chad before the first round of the draft is over, and I believe he'll end up in our division with either Washington or Philly...probably Washington.

As much as I hate taking up for the skins, I don't blame them for attempting to get rid of that 1st rounder. They obviously want another WR and the value/talent isn't there 21.

Even more reason to make sure we come away with a CB in the 1st round.

Overpaying for a WR and having to skimp on another position doesn't help a lot either.

If the price is #28, go for it. Any more then that and its just not worth it.

The Commanders are ruining it for us IMO. Their crazy trade offers are only driving up the market.

We do need a player like Boldin on offense. Sure, we can fill the 3rd CB role, or we could get a star that could make a huge difference with our offense. We are just spoiled by getting offense for nothing, bout time we actually bring a quality playmaker in here. We did when we last won super bowls, now we go defense every draft and don't even win a playoff game.

Rather have 1 impact vet WR or elite RB than 3 role players.

So what is a championship worth??

Role players will put up a good record, elite impact players win championships.

i agree the Commanders have really loused it up for us, but then again, if we were really going to get a vet wr we probably shouldve had it done before now. we can only hope a deal for RW can still happen, but it now seems it will take alot more than just one of our 1st rounders.

Would a 3rd CB provide a championship??

Both are impact players, of course Roy would fit with more of what we really need at the position. But you put either one of them with what we already have, and yes, they would go a long way towards providing that.
