Poor, bitter Foreskins fan.

If you can't beat 'em, drive up the price of improvement so they don't beat you quite so badly. :lmao:
Valid tactic of war. If you can't win an open battle yet, disturb their logistics/supply and soon, you'll see a weaker enemy.

The Cowboys want Roy Williams, and Roy Williams wants to play in Dallas, so many Zoners, after hearing about Philly's and Washington's purported interest used the argument, "but Roy Williams WANTS to play in Dallas" as a reason why, despite an inferior offer (supposed) he would end up a Cowboy anyways. This argument continues to state that Roy Williams would refuse to sign a multi-million dollar extension with the trading team and sit out because he likes Dallas better.

This was a joke on those posters who think that the Lions really care about where Roy Williams wants to go. In conclusion, the price has been set (1st and a pick in the first three rounds next year) and just because Roy Williams wants something, doesn't mean it's going to happen.

Well I think it is naive for some Dallas fans to think that Roy Williams would turn down a mega money deal in order to give the Cowboys a little home town discount.

However I would also like to say that the price has NOT been set by the skins...it has been REJECTED by two teams.

One other thing to consider. Maybe the deal has already been made with the Cowboys but they have just agreed to stay hush hush about it.

It's gotta suck when NO ONE wants play for your team....

The Lions don't care where Roy wants to spend his career, but the team trading for him does. No team is going to trade valuable high draft picks for a one-year rental that they can't sign to an extension.

Oh waitaminit, the ghost of TJ Duckett says maybe there is one team that would.

Now Now...they got great value from him and he would be better than any WR in the NFC east. :D

I expect there were few (if any) Cowboys fans that used that reasoning in a trade scenario. More than likely, they were using it as a reason why he might be apt to sign here once his contract is up next season.

You can feel free to show me where all this "trade Roy Williams to Dallas because he wants it" nonsense went on, but I have a feeling you won't, because it doesn't exist.
What I said was that Cowboys fans think he would end up in a Cowboys uniform because he wouldn't sign an extension with anybody else because he wanted to play in Dallas. Off the top of my head, a search criteria that wouldn't require me to wade through hundreds, if not thousands of posts, eludes me, so you'll have to wait on that...

Yes, except the Cowboys are to the Roman Empire as the Commanders are to the Germaniac tribes

One group is incredibly organized, well-trained and literate

The other is one giant cluster****

And what exactly makes you think he wouldn't sign an extension??? And superpunk, you have your evidence right here...

Link me up. I'm ready to read this craziness. I'll be at my desk all day. I can wait.

Ironic??? You chose to say that one group is organized, well-trained and literate (without using a period I may add) then continue by writing THAT sentence. Do other Cowboy fans get mad at you for calling the Cowboys a giant CF??? Your analogy needs plenty of work too.

No I don't.
That's exactly what I'm saying... Clearly, other teams are interested in trading and all the teams know he'll sign a fair market extension no matter where he wants to play. Yet, some Cowboy fans (chocolab) delude themselves into thinking otherwise and then think that's why they are the only ones in the Roy Williams chase.

Something tells me you didn't understand what CL wrote.

At all.

I'll be waiting on that link.

Hey, you are the one who chose to include literate in your analogy. Clearly, you are not very literate (or at least, I am the more literate between the two of us) so, by your own analogy, that must mean you are the CF. If you want to try it again, without the literate part or a fully coherent sentence, you are more than welcome to.

Might I remind everyone that even if the Skins get one of these WR's. How much does it really matter? Campbell didnt throw a TD to a WR last year until game 8 or 9?

They dont have a QB that can get to his WR's...

We cant/we wont match or better the offers that the Commanders are throwing out there.

Once again Snyder is trying to build with all FA parts.

The ability to point out typing errors does not make one intelligent. This is evidenced by your choice of NFL fandom

The over/under for Jason Campbell's remaining number of starts for the Commanders is currently at 23.5.

The guy is nothing more than Quincy Carter v2.0
