I'm not beating down anyone for saying he needs to attempt to control himself a little on the errant throws, but it's getting a little ridiculous.

We have, with Brady out and Manning not playing well, what could be considered the best QB in the NFL. What in the world is going on?

Like I said above-having been to other teams' MBs, we're the only ones who can NOT ENJOY a win.(i.e. if it's not Romo we're griping about in 40-3 win, then it's someone else + many more) Even Iggles and Foreskins fans act like they're on cloud 9 when their teams win.

I don't think Banks is far off.

I do think too many people are too insecure to accept ANY constructive criticism of anybody that wears a star.

:hammer:

Folks seem to forget about threads during the Eagles and Green Bay games when victory was in doubt. There was so much knee jerking and criticism of Tony Romo, you would have thought Carl Banks had created several aliases and was posting.

Frankly-I'm sick of it. Every other teams MBs I visit, they know how to ENJOY their wins.

Oh really?

I haven't visited an opposing team's MB for a few years, frankley I kind of find it a waste of time but when I was, they were just as negative as the folks here.

When they lose, yes-of course in losses, the fans will play armchair QB for an entire week, no different from us.

I was talking about the WINS. Like I said-in the aftermath of our WINS, CZ goes into near-meltdown mode almost all the time. Sometimes I can't even post b/c of the "server busy" message(b/c of it going into meltdown mode).

Even Egals and Foreskins fans know how to enjoy their wins without griping.

Romo has a tendency to press, and like every other quarterback in the league, he has made poor decisions in the red zone.

However, we should all remember this: Dallas's playoff losses to Seattle and New York had absolutely nothing to do with Romo making poor decisions in the red zone or forcing balls into coverage.

In his two playoff losses, Romo has one interception--a desperation pass into the end zone on 4th and 20 on the last offensive play of the game.

This seems to be an issue, Banks is pretty much correct regardless of his Giants leanings.

It is OK to be critical of your own club, we simply should strive to avoid being over-critical or uncritical. :)

Again-even after we WIN, just so much negativity on every little detail sprays all over this board. Forget Romo, pretty much the remaining 53 roster squad AND the coaching staff will get thrown under the bus, and tons of distortions get thrown way out of proportion. I mean despite a stellar defensive effort, there's a bunch of posts saying our defense sucks wind and Brian Stewart should be fired b/c we gave up JUST ONE long pass play to Driver.

Frankly-I'm sick of it. Every other teams MBs I visit, they know how to ENJOY their wins.

Constructive criticism is not negativity. A good solid person recognizes it, accepts it, learns from it, grows from it. How is that a bad thing?

Banks' comments were not of the sky is falling mentality so prevelant on this board.

it is hard for outsiders to admit that ROMO is the best.

He was a FA and that hurts others the most.
