I mean, its an important game, they all are, but is it a "big game"?? Hmmm I dont think so.

To me, big games are when you play a team that is either at or above your caliber, and also all games in December and forward. Carolina sucks, a lot. We should beat them with ease. Its an important win, but I wouldnt categorize it as a "big win"

Saints fan here, I'd like to wish you luck on MNF. This is a big game for both teams. I think Dallas will win it. I'll be pulling for yall.

BTW, since the Saints took care of the Eagles, can you guys also take care of Atlanta next month? It would be greatly appreciated!:D

If we take care of the Falcons and Panthers, you have to do your part with the Giants.

Cowboys lose to the Panthers they will be hard pressed to make the playoffs... and Jerry may make another Galloway trade!

No, and half of the people that are saying it is, is so they can say that Romo won a big game.

Yes, this is a very big game.

Based on what I have heard, it seems alot of the players were pretty bummed out about this loss, given the fact that is was the home opener, the defense played lousy and it was a division game.

If the Dallas Cowboys lose to the 0-2 Carolina Panthers, a team that even benched their Quarterback, it will probably set the tone for most of the season. I think certain players could start getting what Sean Salisbury likes to call "rabbit ears" and start believing the negativity in the media.

Also, the venom towards Tony Romo and Wade Phillips will be at an all time high and I think this will eventually take its toll.

I really think losing to the Carolina Panthers would be quite devastating mentally for this team.

I disagree.

Tony Romo has already won big games, this isn't something new.

It is a big game because it could have some very negative affects on the team mentally.

For the Cowboys to have a very healthy team to lose to the 0-2 Carolina Panthers, when they are a better football team is not good.

Last year, just going off of memory, I don't believe the Cowboys lost to any team they were definately better than (which is very subjective).

So in essence, it would be step back.

If we lose a second prime time home game and to a winless team nonetheless, it will be freaking disasterous.

If Wade thought the media was tough on him this week, if we lose to Carolina they will demand his head on a platter and most fans would agree. I seriously think a loss to Carolina in which the defense gets shredded again might prompt Jerry to make a move.

I could very easily see Wade getting canned and Garrett taking over as HC.

So then we beat the Rams last year? Or were they better than us last year in your opinion?

For me, its a huge game. I will be ready to write the season off if we let Delhomme beat us.

One, I said I was just going off memory, it has been a long day today.

Second, who was our starting Quarterback in that game?

Hey I'm on your side here. I believe Romo has showed up in some big spots before. (The Chicago game in 07 when everyone was calling it the showdown of the best two teams in the NFC. Also, the Packers game later that year comes to mind.) I was just trying to remind you that we lost to the Rams. And my question about if you believed they were better than us spawned from you saying that "better team" was subjective.

Sorry it came off kind of offensively.

This is going to sound like semantics, but its an important game, but its not a big game. Important from the standpoint that there is no need for us to be 1-2 when we should be 3-0, and this game would not be "big" if we didnt give up one we should have won.

it is a big game because all games are big.
i voted no because this is against a weak opponent and is a game we should win going away if we have learnt from the 2 previous games.
