Bottom line is Wade never had much success as a head coach with the several opportunities he got but has been a very good coordinator. He admitted he was a lousy HC.

Wade always says things like that, because he's humble... He also threw up a tweet comparing his HC record to Garrett's a couple years ago and put himself in the running for the HC position after taking over the interim HC job with Houston. Practically, I doubt he actually considers himself an awful
HC, though he knows he's much better when he's DC.
Many of his stints as HC were exactly that, interim HC.
He got the Bills to the playoffs as a HC and they never sniffed it since and they lost because if the Music Coty Miracle and had a scrub QB and interfering owner.
The reality is his TENURE HERE, he was hamstrung by Garrett, whose offense kept turning the ball over. He tried to get Dan Reeves here for the red-Headed 'genius' and it was turned down. He has a winning record with us with a guy who can't coach a offense and has had play-calling stripped. We wasted our potential that era because of Garrerr, more so than Wade.
