Again, it didn't help that his oline got manhandled. We would have been saying the same for Romo

No, but he had time at times and missed guys or held the ball too long or didn't move in the pocket (including his 2nd fumble). He definitely carries a decent amount of blame.

He's been applauded for being a better coordinator then head coach but he's never talked about as one of the best coordinators in this league. And I get it. He doesn't look the part. He's goofy. He's COUNTRY. But the guy can coach a defense. And he should be far more talked about then he is. But Rob Ryan looks and talks the part and is far more celebrated.

I've always read and heard praise on Wade's ability to coach a defense. Even before he came to Dallas.

including this year's Panthers, five teams have won at least 15 regular-season games under the currently playoff format. None of them have won the Super Bowl.

If Carolina can keep that defense in tact.......solidify the OL.....and add some playmakers on offense, mainly a WR or two and a RB.....they will definitely be the favorites to make it back to the SB.

I agree. I was saying during the Super Bowl, Cam needs better weapons. He needed someone to take the pressure off him, someone who commands attention. Once the Broncos took him out the game, I said the Panthers were done.

And Cam needs to learn not to do it all himself. I don't care how big he is, he can't continue to take those full-on shots.

Well, he gets Benjamin back next season.

Before the season, Carolina's OL was their big question mark. They played well during the season, but tonight they looked the way everyone thought they would look all year. Credit goes to Denver, of course.

Crazy.

I know the 1984 49ers and 1985 Bears did it -- although obviously the playoff format was slightly different.

I've always read and heard praise on Wade's ability to coach a defense. Even before he came to Dallas.

The first thing I heard when he came to Dallas was "He's a good coordinator but he's not a good head coach". That was the narrative all throughout radio and media. And its true. Not denying that. But he's a great coordinator and that's where it should stop. But the only time its brought up that he's a good coordinator is always followed by how bad of a head coach he is when these two statements shouldn't follow each other. IMO anyway.

He's always been noted as a defensive coordinator. Head coach, we know his faults. As does everyone else.
