Hardy is not going to be a Cowboy. That's over.

And what else you know some you are so close to jerry and know what they will do.

Having 2 suspensions at DE and on top of that hardy price goes down the longer he is on the market. Not saying it will or not but sometimes you have to do things you didn't want to when other plans fail

This brightened my night up. I agree with another poster, I can live with his play under this contract.

By listening to those closest to the organization and what is being discussed by them. His antics were too much and regardless of the suspensions they don't want him back. Never said I talk to Jerry personally but certain people do and they have reported on it.

Extra money to push forward to pay Frederick and Martin. Don't know why some of you are rolling your eyes on the money saved.
Because some people need to baby cry about everything. Hats of to Carr. He's a solid DB that was constantly hated on because of the contract. He is also supposed to be a great team mate and an awesome person for the community.

A couple of ways to take this news...1) Dallas doesn't expect Ramsey to make it to #4 or 2) should Ramsey drop to them he will be paired with B. Jones at Safety.

Carr's willingness to take the paycut suggests to me that he thinks that Ramsey might make it to Dallas and doesn't want to be quite so expendable. If that's the case, I would love to see Jones and Ramsey take over at safety!

I heard they gave him incentives to the tune of $2 million per interception. The league reviewed the contract and classified that as a Not Likely To Be Earned Incentive so it doesn't count towards this year's cap.

So much this. Carr is not a bad player or a bad guy, he's just overpaid and in recent years hasn't been willing to take a paycut (why should he? teams don't raise your pay just because you are good), now that he is worried about his job, he takes it. Sounds fair to me.

You could be right. I do think that Carr likes it in Dallas and wanted to feel secure rather than see how the draft played out for all the teams in the League.

Carr could have found a market but it may have taken until Camp to land somewhere. Who knows...

Say what you want about Carr, but this dude is nothing but all class, and it's never been his fault he wasn't a 50 million dollar CB.

I've liked him for years and LOVE the fact that he never gets hurt. Now we don't have to reach for DB's!!!
