Pull the panties out it’s only 2 extra teams. That might be true if they weren’t almost letting half the league into the playoffs.
great point. I agree. I also LOVE the wr Peoples-Jones...out of Michigan. I think he is special and would push Amari Cooper actually. The kid is that good. I know this isn't a draft forum or topic...but sice we are talkin wr..go look at that kids tape. Its NFL pro ready now. MM is known for finding guys in the middle rounds that shine.
Not trying to be argumentative here but didn't he always leverage? What were the chances of Cowboys letting him walk after getting rid of a 1st rounder for him? If I had to take a guess he's gonna get a Michael Thomas deal and Dak gets franchised unfortunately. This certainly doesn’t help, he just gained more leverage.
it means will likely see a 7-9 team or even a 6-10 team, in the playoffs that should NEVER EVER BE.
That pretty much sums up our entire country - there’s usually a 52/48 split on damn near everything. Pretty sad if you ask me.It passed but there's a lot of unhappy guys.
I STUMBLED ONTO THIS GUYS TAPE LAST NIGHT. He is special. The feet, the hands, route running, awareness, body control...he's the complete package. I will be pissed if we don't draft a wr this year. Its so darn deep and talent laden. As good as Amari is, this kid may be better in the long run.My man! Huge fan of DPJ!
except he is a mental nut job. If it was just pot or something, I am on board..but he is a flake.So.... who needs Cooper now when we can just sign Josh Gordon? Nothing holding him back now!
That is not what that means. It means a 11-5 team won't miss out on the playoffs because of a 7-9 team. This will help the product not hurt it.it means will likely see a 7-9 team or even a 6-10 team, in the playoffs that should NEVER EVER BE.
It really don't matter what quality you are watching. What matters is what you are watching makes you happy. Dallas has not been good at it in a long time. The only knock on the "Crazy talented" 90's teams was the "Best team money could buy" labels, which was actually true. That's what lead jerry to say...."100 coaches could win with this team". While there is some merit to that statement. ( Barry Switzer) The A-hole fact is that he did , indeed have a "Great" coach too. Jerry had it all once. The NFL has been measurably watered down since the initial ratification of this particular collective bargaining agreement in 1993.
I got over my decade-long fear around 2005 and finally started accepting artificially enforced competitive leaguewide parity lol.
Seems most of the contracts we shell out aren’t good. We do one good one. Lael to some bad ones zeke and dlawAnd it will be a bad contract. Guy disappears too much. No dog in him.
Not really there’s a lot of parody in the NFL and there isn’t a major difference between 1 seeds and 7 seeds. Any team can beat any team in this league on any given Sunday. This isn’t like the NBA.Almost half the teams make the play-offs...thats just stupid, they're watering down the product.
Adding one more team in each conference does not mean you will see a 6 win team in the playoffs. This is a huge overreach. You may see the occasional 8-8 team get in, but 9 and sometimes 10 win teams miss out the playoffs under the old system.it means will likely see a 7-9 team or even a 6-10 team, in the playoffs that should NEVER EVER BE.
who cares. They lose in the first round and we move on to the good teams.it means will likely see a 7-9 team or even a 6-10 team, in the playoffs that should NEVER EVER BE.
How is it watered down? It’s 1 more freakin game, and it’s not like they’re playing a 162 game season..I hate that they watered down the regular season and playoffs like this.
The NFL should always be about quality and this lowers it.
OK, WELL, we will see. I think its bad for the game. My dad always said, if it aint broke, don't fix it.Adding one more team in each conference does not mean you will see a 6 win team in the playoffs. This is a huge overreach. You may see the occasional 8-8 team get in, but 9 and sometimes 10 win teams miss out the playoffs under the old system.
I agree, and don't hate the new system. It creates more competition at the top for the #1 seed, keeps more teams in the running for post season play, and really if you go back and look who that next team in would have been the last couple years it more often than not would have been an entertaining game on paper. Not really there’s a lot of parody in the NFL and there isn’t a major difference between 1 seeds and 7 seeds. Any team can beat any team in this league on any given Sunday. This isn’t like the NBA.
