I guess they're banking on the fact that we'll have live audiences for these games come September.

It really don't matter what quality you are watching.
I am old enough to have witnessed the great dominating teams of the 70s, 80s and much of the 90s. So I have not forgotten what the NFL was and have experienced what the NFL has become.

Doughts suck. Jerry Jones The-Perpetual-3-Decade-Old-Energizer-Bunny General Manager sucks. Still, that, in grand scheme, is only a fraction of the big picture. So, as a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the National Football League it plays in, comprehends the all-encompassing quality of the league as it is now compared to what it used to be...

Well, sue me.

Then 18th FA frenzy begins?

in a few short days we will know where at least Dak, Jones and Coop futures might be headed..

we can basically sign all our own free agents if we want to. That's the truth. BUT I think Jones will be allowed to walk.

I am not a player butfrom what I have read lookslike the players get several good things from it wont be any more long padded practices u cant have a coach like our former one who wears out the players before the season begins

I may see it differently after I cool down some but right now I'd take that in a hummingbird's heartbeat. Sign Brady, take Tua at #5 and use the rest of the draft and the rest of the cap to resign Coop, Quinn and Jones and build up the defense. Imagine Brady throwing to top-five weapons from behind a great OL with a top-10 defense giving him the ball in plus territory.
I think Brady is too old but I would like to see what happens if we used those 3 first round picks to expand our roster. Sign Cooper and Byron. The team would be better in the long run.

Dak
Cooper
Quinn
Jones
Malik Collins
Cobb
Sean Lee
Jeff Heath
Anthony Brown
Michael Bennett
Xavier Su'aFilo
Cameron Flemming
Joe Thomas
Jarwin
Frazier
Anton Woods

And there are at least 10 more FA we have, plus we need to save at least 10m to sign our draft picks and try to have some cash to sign some other FA that are available. Now i know we aren't resigning all of these guys but after signing Dak,Cooper and say Quinn plus our draft picks we really don't have a ton of cash left

Surprised by the closeness of that vote with so many on the lower level of pay. I would like to know what bothered them the most about it.
I'd guess the 17th game was a big thing, and for the guys at the top of the food chain the fact that the deal doesn't really bump their money, relatively speaking.
