Apparently the sticking point on why this hasnt been signed is the 17th game added, but not the game itself but owners not wanting a 2nd bye week.

Whats basically been agreed to is:
Nearly wiping out any punishment for Marijuana use. Im guessing this means only punishment would be for arrests.
Slightly ups the revenue split for players
Increase in minimum salaries and spending floors
Adjustments to the franchise tag and 5th yr options

As of right now that there is no agreement, teams can use the franchise tag and transition tag but cant designate anybody for a post june 1 cut.

Just make the bye weeks 8-11 for all the teams.

No more week 5 off weeks. 4 game pre 12+ post. Dumb.

If it’s retro active or not then Gregory will be back. And I wonder if Irving is in shape. Never been a huge distraction other than wanting to smoke pot. He isn’t big on liking the game but man he can play.

I don't think that Irving liked playing because of the injuries. I don't necessarily blame him but if I was blessed with his physical prowess I dammed sure would have my *** out there getting paid.

I think wanting to smoke weed was only part of it. I just dont think he wanted to play

That’s what I am talking about. The years he played he left millions on the table. The suspensions killed him. His second to the last year should have been on a 3 year deal making about 9 million a year.

I agree 100%. The owners clearly have the money to increase roster sizes. If they upped the active roster to somewhere between 55 and 60 players, it would reduce the number of injuries because special teams would no longer have to include players who also get a lot of pt on offense or defense.

Yes, it is too much, that’s what the weed is for! Have a few bumps, bruises, aches, pains, sore joints...smoke a joint and they will be pain free within minutes let alone a week.
