I hear ya but to me delusional is not knowing what he’s saying. I think he does know what he’s saying. Just twisting it best he can to fit his narrative . Like he thinks he’s being sly or sneaky. Lol

There doesn’t have to be any evidence to support his beliefs. It’s much like someone running for public office . You can splatter anything out there. Some stick, some don’t .

Claiming he’s delusional attempts IMO to get him off the hook. I think his intentions are more deliberate. As though most fans won’t fact check him. And many won’t even ever see it or look the other way.
Although I think sometimes his intentions are more deliberate, I also believe from years of listening to Jerry that he believes a lot of what he says or at least is trying to convince himself of it, which is delusion.

Doesn't really matter either way, though. Jerry isn't going to change and we know what he says doesn't fit the reality. I don't generally worry about his comments, even though they are disheartening, because I can't change the fact that he owns the team and can run it however he wants.

Right...my point exactly. They weren't so lucky with their spending spree.

Sorry...you add two of the highest paid FA and have an "elite" qb, you need to do more than just make the playoffs.Bengals spent 100+ mill on their Oline and it never looked good. Miami wasted a year now bc of a key injury and they weren't good enough anyway.

Cowboys had injuries all over and were able to withstand it in large part to how they drafted and built their team. They weren't paper thin.

Give me what the Cowboys are doing with a few tweaks any day.
The Bengals have been in back to back AFCCGs (winning one).

We haven't seen a conference champ in 27 years.

But yeah, what we do is great.

We might think it was great if we were enjoying that #1 Revenue and celebrity status.
They are living the dream !!

Yes, let's ignore all of the team that flamed out spending big in FA.

Always cling to the outliers.

I agree with most but I think what most fans struggle grasping is what he is doing in his mind is what works for their priorities and agendas which don’t generally align with ours.

What they are doing is what is right or what works for him. That’s not delusional. It’s his grossly arrogant.

Cowboy fans see this tremendous failure the last 27 years, the Jone$ see a record windfall.

There is a tremendous division in what is working for them versus the fans .

Oh they have done better, obviously.

There method is better than the Rams but they will have their challenges, as I pointed out.

I can virtually guarantee we will win 12 again next year. I can't say that about them next year. Maybe they will but they have a lot in the air.
Your guarantee is worthless. They were better than us this year, and they will run it back next year using cap manipulation techniques like voidable years… we on the other hand can watch dak turn more and more into Carson Wentz, while Hurts turns more and more into a better Russle Wilson … with elite leadership skills. Fun times.

You all make fun, but you still support them...the joke is all the losers that won't stop hating and won't stop supporting....lol!!!!!
It’s definitely a love/ hate relationship . Reminds me of other business I support but hate their leadership and direction .

Another good example is we don’t always support our public officials policies and leadership but we still love our country.

I bet there were citizens where you coached that hated you or how you coached but supported or rooted for the team which represented their school and community.

What dominant, SB teams in recent memory have done it like Dallas? Focus on drafting and then hit the bargain bin in FA........

You are right, but I'm a big surly man with a very shirt fuse....I had them ejected and banned from my stadium
Sounds like you don’t handle criticism well. Not everyone is suited for the public scrutiny .

We can’t expect the public who supports a program or team to be on board with every moving piece. That’s only for players and coaches ,etc on the payroll.

I'm glad you get it....I figured a staff member would have more respect for the franchise
I’m not sure why you’re so conflicted with fans who are more critical?

Have you never disagreed with a decision or direction the franchise makes?

I never minded criticism that was meant for me....that's part of the job....I hated fans ripping my players....I never put up with that. We were up 49 to 0 at halftime once....a drunk fan cussed out one of my players for fumbling the ball. I personally through him out of the stadium. Never saw him again
If he was intoxicated that was probably against the law and he needed to go. But surely you weren’t throwing all fans out who yelled at players? If you did the School Board would probably throw you out.

For someone in such a public leadership role it’s surprising the short fuse or overly sensitive response to criticism . Isn’t receiving criticism part of it?

Not all of us, I have no respect for them or how they run the franchise, respect is earned as well as lost.
Ranch is a former or retired HS HC from South Texas.

He often provides some good insight and analysis but I’m not sure why the hang up with criticism on certain moving pieces from fans who support the sum.
