1) I'm not going to nitpick this victory too much. As a fan I wait seven or so months out of every year for football season to roll around, and wins are hard to come by -- yes, even as a fan. I'm going to enjoy this one like all the others.
2) The concern I do have is Felix's health. He might be the most dynamic running back in the NFL (see his career ypc) -- and the most injury prone.
3) I loved the way Romo played tonight. THIS was the Romo we needed last week. You're not going to get 300 yards and 3 TDs every week, but when that's not available you can't just self destruct. He was a good game manager. Now if he can only continually play this way when the big plays aren't there.
4) I thought the back-to-back fade routes made sense ONLY if that was four down territory in our mind. I thought for sure we'd go for it on 4th down to pass back to back plays. I don't get passing twice if you plan ion kicking on fourth down.
5) The defense was salty all night save one possession. Literally, top notch other than that one scoring drive Carolina had (even when we couldn't tackle, they were forcing stops).
6) I'm going to say it: Roy Williams needs the ball more. Not to the point of forcing it to him, but he needs it more. He caught 4 of the 5 balls thrown his way, no? He's fairly dynamic with the football in his hands. It was garbage that they kept asking the "where's no-catch TO" all night. Roy isn't a top-of-the-line wideout, but he's in that tier below that.
7) What is happening to Ware? He's still a run-stuffing beast, but he just isn't getting that same beat off the snap that he got last season.
