Cbz40 Post Game Thread | Dallas Cowboys 20 Philadelphia Eagles 16 FINAL

Nice to see that stadium empty out...I wonder how many domestic violence acts happen tonight?

For those who thought the playoff implications were too soon to mention I say think again. A loss here would put us 2 back in the loss column in the division. A win puts us 1/2 game back with the tie breaker heads up in the division and a game lead overall.

Carpenter played well. Jenkins and Newman, too. The DL played well enough. Romo over 300 yds.

Great game guys. Four more wins and we should definitely qualify. Five wins and I suspect we win the division. Makes the NO game more important, too.

How 'bout dem Cowboys!

IMO, playoff implications begin in week 1. We were out of the playoffs due to one loss were we not? How many teams every year miss the playoffs by one game....many.

Ha, me? I'm just excited.

I think I may hate the Eagles as much or more than I love the Cowboys. w00t!!!!

You can blame the loss of the polizone for that.

Give him his due. Two good catches and runs. Broke some tackles and set the Cowboys up nice. I believe both were third down catches.

Get Ogletree out there more. I've been saying it for 8 weeks now.

this was a good win. To come into this town after last year's letdown and win it I'm impressed. Moreso because the Cowboys played solid smart football, especially on the defensive end. Yes they did still have some dumb penalties but they fought the whole game and got turnovers and just played well in a game I thought they would lay an egg.

i think the eagles were as surprised as much as we were to see ogletree out there

I am impressed with how the team played tonight.

I wish Romo could have seen Witten in the end zone just before the half, but he was under a lot of pressure....at least he didn't turn it over and we got a FG out of it.

The officiating was frustrating. After this game, I cannot tell what PI or illegal hands is. Some consistency by the refs would be nice.

Once again we are able to overcome stupid penalties.

It was great to see us getting to McNabb, sacking him, and forcing turnovers. It was good to convert those turnovers into 10 points.

Roy came to life tonight. Witten moved farther up the list of Cowboys receptions, as well as TE receptions.

We only gave up a few big plays.....the biggest being that McCoy screen.

I was getting frustrated with us playing off and giving up some of those 10-12 yd receptions, but at least we didnt give up the huge pass to Maclin or Jackson.

BTW, did Jackson even play tonight?

Ok, was anyone else as nervous as I was when Gurode went down? I was mortified when it became Procter time. Thank goodness Gurode was able to come back.

He surprised me with his quickness. I was very impressed and hopefully he can turn out to be another undrafted gem.

really showed up Dallas and Miles Austin tonight, didn't he?

Two mostly meaningless catches for 29 yards while Austin made the game winner. Again.

Good thing Austin isn't explosive enough to be mentioned in the same sentence as Jackson.

I guess him running away from 3 members of the iggles secondary was just luck and due in no part to his explosiveness.

6 weeks ago we hAd no wrs that were good now we have too many and that's great

pretty good after the catch... hopefully they work him more into the lineup the next few weeks... he seems like he could be a big play threat with his speed.

I was happy to see us run the screen and Ogletree almost broke em both..

Glad to get the win.

I thought our defense played great, but we also got lucky that when we were getting no pressure at all, Donovan was missing some throws.

Romo wasnt very accurate tonight, but he didnt make alot of mistakes besides the INT, and made the plays when he had to.

The only thing that ticked me off were the penalties, struggling to adjust against the blitz, and Witten still not getting alot of catches.

6-2 and off to Buc the Packers!

The guy is a player and needs to see the field in a regular rotation. He makes drafting a WR next year a wasted pick unless you want to replace Hurd.

That was a big time win against a good team on their home turf

I thought the defense and offense played great and made some plays that had to be made

The int by Jenkins, the shoe string tackle by Butler

The catch by Witten at the end of the game

I also like to give props to Roy, Choice and Olgetree

and the entire defense
